This is a lovely, ocean-oriented three bedroom home in the heart of Sea Pines Plantation located at 7 Oyster Catcher. An oversized family room (420 square feet) serves as a fourth bedroom with total capacity for eight persons. The home is a two minute walk to the magnificent beach so driving to the beach is not necessary; only four other homes separate this home from the beach. There is parking for four vehicles. The home has six television sets, a laundry room with a new washer and dryer, a kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, breakfast room, dining room, and living room and is approximately 3000 square feet. A private, enclosed, new, 6-person hot tub adjoins the master bedroom. A newly re-surfaced swimming pool is surrounded by a wooden fence and is accessible from the breakfast room, dining room, and living room. The house is upscale and well-appointed with a designer's touch. It has excellent furnishings and a top-quality kitchen. The house is equiped with high-speed wireless internet service. This is a non-smoking home.

My wife and I rented this property from 6/12 - 19 /2010. Also staying were our daughter, her husband and their sons, and our son and his fiancee, for a total of six adults and two children. The property was ideal! Elegantly appointed throughout with obvious interior designer influence, it was spacious in every area from family room to living, dining, bedrooms and kitchen. The pool area was perfect and along with the very sizable grill lent itself nicely to our various dinner theme nights of Caribbean, Mexican and Hawaiian. Sleeping arrangements for the eight of us were just fine. While my wife and I used the sleeper sofa in the family room, the two boys used the twin beds in one bedroom while their parents used a King in the Master BR while our son and fiancee the other King in bedroom #3. With a bathroom convenient to each bedroom morning competition was eliminated. The three minute walk to the beach was a delightful "mini boardwalk" stroll through tall pines. Location-wise we were very close to bike rental, golf, freshwater fishing and nature hikes, with routine allgator sightings. Our one week stay was not nearly enough at this wonderful home, and we look forward to a return stay......only longer next time!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
