Memorable Sunset and Private Pier - Lake Livingston, TX - Waterfront Vacation Home in Onalaska Location: Onalaska, Livingston,Texas, USA (Near Huntsville:1 1/2 hours north of Houston, 3 hours south of Dallas) Accommodations: Main House (3 bedrooms, 2 baths) plus Game House (2 bunk beds, 1 futon, plus 1 full bath). Sleeps 12 people. Are you looking for choice accommodations? This beautiful 1-acre vacation compound is perfect for couples and families that are looking for sporting activities or just rest and relaxation from it all. The 2-story main house has a master bedroom with a king size bed, sleeper, and master bath. A king size bed is in one of the downstairs bedrooms. A full bunk bed and single bunk bed are in the 2nd bedroom downstairs. A full bath accommodates the downstairs bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms includes plump pillows, quality linens, and blankets. Bathroom towels and washcloths are also included. Through the many glass windows or on the deck that wraps around the side and front of the house, you will be able to witness the breathtaking sunset that falls upon this side of Lake Livingston. When you are at this exclusive and private waterfront home, the air is fresh and clean, the surroundings are so quiet and peaceful, it seems as if you are way out in the country. On a clear, cloudless night, you can see the stars twinkle in the dark sky. The 2-story main house has a telephone, color cable TV, VCR, washer and dryer, plus air-conditioning and heating for your comfort and pleasure. The modern kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, silverware, cookware, dishes, refrigerator with ice maker, range and oven. All you need to bring are your favorite beverages and food plus paper and plastic goods. Open boathouse, sundeck, & 2 electric slips: You can easily operate the 2 electric slips at the boathouse. The larger slip will accomodate pontoon, tri-hulls or V-hull boats. The second slips will accomodate 1 or 2 jet skis. During the day, you can swim off the pier, fish or bask in the sun on top of the elevated sundeck. A new swing rope is there for water lovers You will enjoy excellent nighttime fishing off the pier or crow's-nest. You can have a midnight party there that your friends or relatives will remember forever. ALLOW NO MORE THAN 10 INDIVIDUALS AT ONE TIME ON THE SUNDECK. SWIMMERS NEED TO BE SUPERVISED. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY. Private game house: The private game house has a pool table, foosball, dart game, cable TV, 2 bunk beds, futon, and a full bath. The house is air-conditioned and heated for year-round use. The game house, overlooking the waterfront, is 30 feet from the main house. This game house also has plump pillows, quality linens, and blankets. Bathroom towels and washcloths are also included. BBQ area: This waterfront property is large enough to entertain a separate picnic area among the numerous pines. Within this area, ideal for large groups or reunions is a picnic table and a mobile charcoal grill for your outdoor pleasure. The well manicured grass area between the shore and main house is large enough for your group or family reunion to play volleyball, badminton, horseshoes (already in place), or croquet. You will need to provide your own game equipment. 10/24/06: As previously mentioned on this website, the repairs to the dam at Lake Livingston were completed in late April of 2006. We are pleased to announce that the lake is now back to normal levels due to the recent heavy rains. We hope that levels will remain like this for your stay at our lake house, but of course, that is not in our control. Thank you for considering our home away from home for your vacation.
