Dear Marc and Sharon, We had a wonderful time at your lake house. Your home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. My son loved canoeing on the the lake with his dad. They even caught a few fish. My daughter and I enjoyed shopping in Seneca and Highlands. I would have been content just to sit and read on your fabulous screened porch. There's so much to do and see in the area and we ran out of time so we'll definitely make plans to stay again.

This lakehouse provided us with one of the most memorable vacations we have had. The pictures online were very accurate, but the house itself was much more impressive. It was very clean and well maintained. We had three families staying in the house and the layout of the house was perfect for all of us. The kids loved hanging out in the basement playing ping pong and just having their own space. We spent our days fishing on the lake and just floating around in the warm water. We spent a day whitewater rafting which was one of the many highlights of the trip. The weather couldn't have been better and we were able to take in some of the sights of the local falls and scenery. You can't beat the quietness of the lake in the early morning hours and the beautiful sunsets at night...it was a truly relaxing vacation. Thank you Marc for allowing us to stay in your home. We hope to return next summer and do it all over again!

we had a truly wonderful time. we enjoyed sitting on the dock with our vodka and tonics watching all the boats go by. We played alot of ping pong the only down side was the floats were damaged so we could not take them out on the lake and we did not bring water shoes to walk in the water off the steps before going into the deep part of the lake. We will be looking for another place next year same time frame and will keep you in mind. Thank you again for the great time. Rich and Tammi Hatfield;

we had a truly wonderful time. we want to give Marc a special thanks for allowing us to bring our dog Ms. Raven who had a blast. For an old girl she was a champ climbling the water falls and all the hikes we took her on. we enjoyed sitting on the dock with our vodka and tonics watching all the boats go by. We played alot of ping pong and Raven was our ball catcher. the only down side was the floats were damaged so we could not take them out on the lake and we did not bring water shoes to walk in the water off the steps before going into the deep part of the lake. We will be looking for another place next year same time frame and will keep you in mind. Thank you again for the great time. Rich and Tammi Hatfield; and Raven

The pictures (although nice) do not do this place justice. Breath taking views and upgraded amenities. It was wonderful. Open floor plan, with rooms for everyone. Great family setting and nice quiet lake. From the dock, canoes and lake to the pool table and indoor setting. The perfect family get away. With so much located near by. Boat and hike at Joccasse, climb Table Rock, explore the dozens of waterfalls. The list is endless. Planning a repeat for next year. THANK YOU for the use of your lovely house. Sincerely Scot A. The website for this lake home is excellent and true to life. It gives so much detail and even though the pictures look good, upon arrival you will find the inside decor is more beautiful than the pictures. This gorgeous lake house is so spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. It has a large screened porch overlooking the lake which is so enjoyable. The house is immaculate and well kept. The decor is absolutely gorgeous with all the comforts of home. The bedrooms are so comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is a great house for family and can accommodate so many. The basement is so large and beautifully decorated with a most unique pool table. The landscaping around the house is so incredible. So much detail was given when this house was designed and built. The lake is great for swimming, kyacking and canoeing A truly gorgeous vacation home for a family retreat. I would highly recommend this getaway to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy time away from home!

My wife and I felt the description of the house lived up to expectation and then some. The main area of the house is great for couples. The hous was clean and the landscaping made it easy to get to and from the dock. Canoes and a kayak made lake paddling a joy. We booked only several days before departure and Marc, the owner, made that a smooth transaction. All types of info regarding the house and surroundings were available. There is plenty of room even for larger families. A great vacation for a reasonable price.

The house exceeded our expectations. We were a bit concerned about the size (we are a couple), but the layout was great in that the main floor had everything a couple would need: kitchen/dining/living area, master bedroom/bath, a screened porch with a view of the lake all around and even a half bath. Upstairs were bedrooms we didn't need but would be great for families. For even bigger families there is a full basement where several could sleep. The pool table in the basement is a REAL pool table. Lake Cherokee is a small lake and great for paddlers. The house has canoes and a kayak available. The house was clean and the grounds were well maintained. It was relatively easy to get to the dock from the house. We are last-minute travelers and Marc, the owner, made it easy to navigate through payment and paperwork. Overall a wonderful week of relaxation.

Our family would highly recommend this piece of property on Lake Cherokee. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality, cleanliness, and overall beauty of this home. The downstairs area offers a pool/ping pong table, large TV and plenty of sleeping space. Our teenage boys loved this part of the house! My particular favorite part of the home was the large screened-in porch off the family room area. This offered a beautiful view of the lake and was a perfect place to sit, relax and read a good book. There is so much to do in this area...waterfalls, hiking, sightseeing, fishing, canoeing, swimming or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. You will NOT be disappointed with your stay at this mountain retreat. Guaranteed!
