This spectacular Lakefront Vacation Home is located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the mountains of South Carolina. We are in Tamassee - between Lake Jocassee and Keowee to the east, Walhalla and the Chattooga River just west, and Cashiers just to the north. Relaxing at a great lakefront retreat, enjoying Clemson Tiger football, and hiking, white-water rafting, and exploring, are all convenient and nearby.

This top shelf home is located on a beautiful, private, 320-acre, boatable lake with a large private dock, swimming area, and a nice view of the South Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains. The home has Direct TV and satellite internet. With the internet, it is easy to find out where things while you are there. This is a great family vacation rental home for both the active group and the 'kickback and relax' family. The home is very fully equipped and is very upscale, yet casual.

We are on Lake Cherokee, a true hidden gem, but there is not much published on this lake. Email us for more information.

  • We are neighbor's of the above property on lake Cherokee. With Ourselves and 5 married children and 14 grandchildren there are 26 on our annual vacation. So we rented 255 Jumping Branch for our vacation. Great Place!! There house is beautiful and of cource we love the lake which we consider our own. If you rent this house knock on our door at 259 Jumping Branch and we'll be glad to welcome you to the lake.

  • Our stay in March 2009 was a wonderful experience. Even with cold/rainy weather my family and I were able to find things to do whether it was watch a movie, play a board game or just have conversations. It was a great family bonding time with our adult children. The house was very well kept, with wonderful furnishings and spectacular views with porches to sit and enjoy the scenery. We all had fun playing ping pong too! Even with the bad weather we still managed to catch some fish and go out in the canoe during a break in the clouds. All in all it was a very fun time and we would definatley visit again!

We enjoyed our stay so very much. we loved relaxing in the warm water, the canoe rides,reading on the screened in porch, and playing pool downstairs. it was also close enough to clemson for our son to be able to visit and enjoy with us. we recommend highly, and hope to return.   • Dear Marc and Sharon, We had a wonderful time at your lake house. Your home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. My son loved canoeing on the the lake with his dad. They even caught a few fish. My daughter and I enjoyed shopping in Seneca and Highlands. I would have been content just to sit and read on your fabulous screened porch. There's so much to do and see in the area and we ran out of time so we'll definitely make plans to stay again.
