This island charmer in Key West style is in a perfect location to relax and enjoy the north end of Anna Maria Island; a quiet small town with everything within walking distance to the best beach area on Anna Maria Island. The community center is next door, with tennis courts, and community events all year long. Walk to several quaint cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants, or walk to the famous Sandbar Restaurant located beach-side on the Gulf of Mexico or the Anna Maria fishing pier on the bay side with a restaurant at the end of the pier. There are numerous Island Shops where you can find lovely beach apparel or take-home gifts - also in walking distance. If you prefer to venture to other parts of the island, trolleys run every 20 minutes and go from one end of the island to the other. Trolley access is within two blocks and is FREE! Additional trolley service to Long Boat Key and Sarasota is being added in the fall or 2008 for a minimal fee. Leave your car and enjoy your entire stay without burning gas.

This charming home has been recently renovated and carefully maintained to make sure your stay is perfect. 2 bedrooms, a bunk room and a sofa bed, makes sleeping 8 very comfortable. It has been updated with new paint, new appliances, new carpet, ceramic tile and is beautifully furnished in a tropical style. It is air-conditioned for the warmer days and heated if the air is too chilly. The outside deck is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening meal.

Take your morning stroll along the Gulf of Mexico or enjoy the beautiful sunsets each evening. Swim all day in the clear waters of the Gulf. This comfortable home with beach chairs, umbrella, floaters, bicycles, etc. allows you to become an instant "Islander".

  • Just delightful. Under new ownership and it shows. They have completely redone the place and it's fresh and cheerful. Only 2 blocks to the Gulf of Mexico and every morning we'd take our coffee and breakfast sandwiches from Ginny & Jane E (on the way) to the beach and feel like rich beachcombers. We loved how close it was to the Gulf and the Sandbar restaurant (try the cocoanut shrimp salad). Only complaint was we left too soon. Anna Maria Island is amazing. I think my blood pressure dropped by about 11%.

  • I brought my family and a few of my closest friends (6 of us) to stay at this beach house last week. We all had lots of fun! This house is located in walking distance to the beach, the pier, to the trolley stops, and much more! There are even bicycles available to ride! I will definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.

  • We stayed over Easter break. Very comfortable. The renters were very accomodating. Hardly had to move the car, walked to the beach. They had bikes for us to use, which I enjoyed. The island is beautiful and where the house was it was very quiet. Beach sand was like baby powder. I had a pleasant experience booking and staying at this location and would recommend it to a family of 8 or less.

  • This is a great vacation home! We had 4 adults and 5 kids stay there (party of 9). The four adults stayed in the two large bedrooms - 1 king and 1 queen. The two boys stayed in the bunk bed room and we had three girls share the sleeper sofa. Although one stept occasionally on the loveseat. The two Bathrooms were large and very nice. The Kitchen was fully supplied and we had TV's in every room. There is a large front deck / balcony with a gas BBQ and we cooked out and relaxed there almost every evening. It was very close to the beach, within a few minutes walk and there is a free trolley right at the end of the street. The kids loved the community center which has a number of sports facilities right across the street. There is a separate laundry room downstairs, which really came in handy with the 5 kids. It was great to get out of the City and spend a week with our friends and the kids on the Island. It was very relaxing and affordable. Better than any hotel or resort we have stayed in before. I would highly recommend this home - I wish we could have stayed a whole month !!

  • We had a great week at this property. It is three blocks from the beach (fresh air), which was really important to us. A few evenings, we used the grill on the deck to barbeque; and dined out on the deck (more fresh air.) Everything we needed was provided by the owners including suggestions on the best local dining options. The price of the property is probably the best value on the island. We had a great time.
