Collins Lake Resort is an Awesome place in a fabulous location, right in Government Camp Village. They have a heated pool and 2 hot tubs, 1 of which is very large. These are open from 10am-11pm and we certainly put it to use. The lodge was nice too. They had a family movie night on Saturday and some other misc activities took place there throughout the weekend. Although the resort is large, and appeared to be at full capacity when we were there, it seemed quiet and the common areas were never crowded. We had neighbors on both sides of us, but never really heard any noise coming through the walls. The Creek Ridge Chalet was very nice, with comfortable furnishings and a fully stocked kitchen. It was very clean which I greatly appreciate!!! It was loaded with lots of extras too. Games, puzzles, books, extra blankets & pillows, lots of towels, a high chair, a pack n play, laundry soap, hot cocoa, napkins, etc.. 2 large couches and an over sized chair in living room, a large dining table with 6 chairs, and 4 bar stools at the breakfast bar nicely accommodated our group of 8. TV's in every bedroom and in the living room, and much more! A nice view of the trees and snow off the large back balcony, and because it's located at the end of the building at the end of the road, there was no traffic- very nice because we have young kids that were able to play in the snow at the end of the road and directly behind the chalet too. We will definitely stay here again if it's available for our next trip to Mt Hood. Thanks Lisa!

Creek Ridge Chalet was everything....and more!

We had such a wonderful time at this chalet. It was beautiful and had everything we could hope for. They should perhaps showcase in their description all the extra amenities they offer. I wasn't sure what to take but didn't really need anything. Even fresh condiments, canned food and laundry detergent was available to guests. I was concerned that it may not be really, really kid friendly since some other chalets at Collins Lake showcase kid's toys and games. However, they had games, books, puzzles, a sled, and even sippy cups. Really, really convenient and comfortable. We certainly hope to stay again there soon!
