This country estate offers great privacy and beauty. Located in the heart of Marin,known for it's breathtaking landscape and fabulous bounty of organic gourmet food and wine. Hidden in it's own private sunny valley and adjacent to Nicasio's largest property owner - enjoy the total privacy of the gardens, pool with cabana, and tennis court.
This newly renovated spacious sunny home has a large living room with high ceilings and a large fireplace, and a dining area. A cozy family room, a large new slate and concrete countered kitchen and butlers pantry with two dishwashers,a six burner commerical oven. Also on the ground floor there are two bedrooms with a queen bed (one bedroom has a fireplace), a smaller bedroom with a twin size bed (trundle that opens to a king), a sunroom with a twin day bed. Plus one full bath and a powder room.
The second floor has a very large master bedroom with a king size bed, a porch, dry heat sauna, reading loft with high speed internet connection and full bathroom.
A guest unit is in a second building, the carriage house, located approximately 200 feet from the main house. The studio can be set us with either a king size bed or two twin beds that double as an L-shape couch. There is a CD player, large television set with DVD and VHS capability. It has it's own small kitchen - with microwave, small oven and stove, small refrigerator. The bath has a shower. The unit is located up the flight of stairs behind the garage. A washer and dryer are available on the lower level for your convenience.
The house and grounds are also an ideal place to hold a fabulous party. Please inquire if interested. Separate rates and terms apply. We have placesettings, tables and seating for fifty guests.
Located 10 minutes to Rancho Nicasio, where well-known bands perform, 20 minutes to Point Reyes Station, 35 minutes to the Pacific Ocean, 45 minutes to San Francisco, 35 minutes to the East Bay, 30 minutes to Sonoma. This is a paradise location for cyclist, hikers and bikers. Services include pool maintenance and gardeners.

One week minimum for holidays and summer months,
unless the rental is for a special event - in which -seperate rates apply.

Starting fall '09 we are offering longer term leases of 3 to 9 months.
Discounted monthly rate of $15,000 is available for longer term rentals.

Thank you for letting us hold our annual fundraising party at your lovely home. We truly appreciated your generosity and flexibility when the unforeseen last minute spring rain threatened to dampen our party and you let us move our event indoors.
