Experience your peaceful, cozy, getaway in this gorgeous mountain setting! Enjoy soaking in the back porch hot tub, surrounded by hemlocks and rhododendrum, while viewing the night sky, and listening to the babbling creek.
Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental, 'Bearfoot at Rabbit Creek', is a rustic log-sided rental cabin located along Rabbit Creek outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee in the quieter Cosby area. Nestled among beautiful Rhododendrons and large Hemlock trees on a one acre lot, this creek provides plenty of atmosphere for the cabin as well as the soothing sounds of a year-round mountain creek.
Just outside the cabin, enjoy sitting next to a campfire with friends while grilling or enjoying a gentle swing on the back porch. While on the back porch, enjoy the outdoors with a large four-person hot tub overlooking the creek. As an added bit of fun and challenge for the kids and family, cabin owners will send occupants on a 'rabbit hunt'.
'Bearfoot at Rabbit Creek' is decorated with all the tradition touches of a rustic mountain cabin. Upstairs is a comfortable master bedroom with a queen size log bed, satellite TV and a rocking chair, as well as, a loft for reading or relaxing. The downstairs bedroom has TV/SAT/VHS/DVD, as well as, a queen-size bed. Towels and linens are furnished.
Located in the Cherokee National Forest, adjacent to the scenic Foothills Parkway, just north of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Cabin is situated on Hwy 32/321, the eastern entrance to the Gatlinburg area off I-40/I-81 and is only minutes from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Dollywood.
Over 10 million visitors come to The Smokies each year to enjoy all that this beautiful and majestic area has to offer. The Smokies is one of America’s most visited national parks. Local National Park attractions include Greenbrier, Foothills Parkway, Cosby Creek, English Mountain, Pigeon River and Green Mountain.
Dollywood, a family theme park, is the #1 attraction located in Pigeon Forge, TN. From kids to adults, there is something for everyone. Other local attractions in the area include Cosby Campground, which is the second largest campground in the Great Smokies National Park and offers numerous hiking trails as well as a very peaceful recreational camping and picnic area.

This was one of the most pleasant and rewarding experiences that we have had. The review description was on target. The property was extraordinarily clean and well maintained, and our questions were promptly answered. We had a problem with the washing machine, and it was addressed immediately. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway. The owners have gone to exceptional pains to make the cabin welcoming - it really felt like a home away from home. We loved the rabbits. We especially appreciated the bucolic countryside, which was such a relief after the congestion of Gatlinburg. The neighbors were quiet and that was a blessing. The proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains NP was a must for us, and we used the cabin as a base for many great hikes, after which the hot tub was so soothing. The babbling of Rabbit Creek was an extra. It made sleeping easy. We will definitely be back! All in all, this was the best deal for the money either my wife or I could remember.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for taking time to let us know you enjoyed your stay at our cabin. We do think it is a special place and are so glad to know it met your needs and you believe it to be worth a return visit. Enjoy the memories. Phil and Lettie Burress

We had a Great time at the cabin, it was more than expected. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc...often in rentals there is a shortage in the kitchen. The hot tub didn't look great when we got there, but within 2 hours housekeeping was there, cleaned it, changed the water, and added new chemicals. We couldn't have ask for anything more. Two bed, Two bath, with the futon, and pull out couch served us well. Two families, four adults, four children went down to spend Thanksgiving in a quite setting. Kids LOVED the staircase and the creek!! We spent a whole day outside watching cows and climbing trees. Close enough to get to Gatlinburg in just a few minutes, far enough away to avoid traffic. I would recommend this place for any family!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to post and recommend Bearfoot at Rabbit Creek. We are glad that your hot tub needs were addressed quickly. And thankful that you found the cabin to be adequate to provide an enjoyable Thanksgiving for your family. Blessings. Owners, Bearfoot at Rabbit Creek.
