Gatlinburg lodges

First of all, huge thanks to Gary and Jennifer for sharing their amazing and beautiful home in the mountains. Blackstone Lodge is truly a fabulous and beautiful place. We had travelled from the UK and wanted to be sure of a relaxing and luxurious base to enjoy the Smokey Mountains. We certainly weren’t disappointed - We really couldn’t have wanted for more. The setting is really stunning with gorgeous views of the mountains from every level, every window and every veranda. The home itself is also just as beautiful. The only downside was deciding which bedroom to choose as each one is so lovely, comfortable and luxurious and has its own character!! Tough choices!! We all enjoyed the video games, pool table, football, the theatre room and the hot tub. The amenities throughout are fantastic and there was nothing we didn’t have at our fingertips. It seemed our hosts had thought of everything. On the subject of hosts, Gary was terrific. From the moment we arrived, he made sure that we had everything we needed and felt welcome. Having said this, he totally respected our privacy and gave us the space to enjoy his property as though it was our own, whilst being available to answer any questions which were very swiftly dealt with (we didn’t have many as it’s all so well set up). If you’re looking for a truly wonderful place to stay, whilst visiting this lovely area, that’s not 5 starts but more like 6, look no further. We would return in a heartbeat and hope it won’t be too long before we can return to Tennessee to indulge again! Thank you Gary and Jennifer. We’ll all remember our stay here forever.
