  Wonderful -- Thanks! As I said on the phone, your place was PERFECT for us. Tailor-made, actually. That little kids' room off the one bedroom was so cute & well-stocked for them. The kids loved it. I loved the cleanliness and sparsely-furnished/decorated aspect. I hate clutter and dusty-feeling places. (My dad had this amazing place overlooking the lake, but frankly, I was much more comfortable at our (your) place. His had a lot of dark wood and weird decor.) Simple & sweet & well-stocked. And those beds! Oh my God. We now realize we're gonna have to upgrade our own. And Fernando's quick response to the lockout dilemma was much appreciated. Thank you very much, Tessa. -Stefanie P.S.   Tessa, We had a great stay at your home. You have everything so well organized and comfortable. My sons are now grown, but I can tell that young children would feel right at home in your space. Our dog, 'Akira' felt right at home, one can tell that you are canine lovers. I have only one suggestion for your winter rentals and that is an electric crock pot...put the stew or soup on in the AM and come home to dinner. I am thinking ahead to renting next winter ! I will call Fernando in case our dog left a morning present in the garden...we left at 5am and could not find it, but it is likely there...every other morning we walked her over on the path between 267 and the North Tahoe Rec area on National Ave. We got to try out your shovels this weekend; my niece was married on a heavenly day of snow fall !...Ah such is spring at Tahoe. I will check our summer schedule and your calendar, I may be looking to rent again in late July, early August. Many thanks for a lovely stay, Teresa

  Thank-you for creating a very comfortable home. The location in central Kings Beach is great, the local hiking books and recommendations for dog friendly walks were very helpful, and your home is equipped with everything one could need... now for some summer (will we have one this year?) dates so we can more fully enjoy the lake for swimming. But the off -season is still my favorite because the lake is so quiet.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

  Tessa, Thank you so much. We loved the "Bears Layer". It was so beautiful and more than we expected. We love King's Beach and we can't wait to go back.   Tessa. Following up to our Tahoe stay, we wanted to thank you for sharing your lovely place with us. I've stayed at many rental homes over the years but yours certainly felt mostly like home away from home. The kids had a blast and everything you could think of was there to make us feel welcome and very comfortable. We managed to bring the wagon up the stairs for a quick walk to the beach and it was returned to the basement. My daughter loved the changing colours 'nightlight'. I'd love to know where you can buy those! Anyway, thanks again. Hopefully we'll be able to return for the upcoming snow season. Very best regards, Sharon
