  • Perfect Getaway

"Everything was as described, Jon was extremely friendly and very professional to deal with. Weather was not the greatest with lots of rain, however this wonderful home made up for any of Mother Natures shortcomings :) will definitely return!"

  • Beautiful home, great rental experience

"Our family of 11 stayed here for a week; one of the best vacation rentals we've ever had. Plenty of rooms, bathrooms, private spaces and enough kitchen space, equipment and dishes for a crowd. Things that make the house extra special: clear beautiful rushing creek in the backyard, hot tub overlooking a fabulous patio area, outdoor fireplaces, stunning indoor great room with stone fireplace, in-wall espresso maker, peaceful mountain view. Would recommend a trip up the mountain for mountain biking, hiking, and lunch at Eagle's Eye Restaurant. Whitewater rafting on the Kicking Horse minutes away. Mark was very friendly and easy to work with."

  • City Escape!!

"My Bestfriend and I took my son away for the weekend, we stayed at the Pep-Inn, the owner have us some great tips about times to check out seeing boo the bear up the Mt. My son was so excited for his first chairlift ride, and seeing a bear less then 5 feet from his face. The stare gazing from the top floor hottub was amazing! The Pep-Inn had such a sweet decore, the owners have really created a beautiful space to escape out of the city!"

  • Kicking Horse condo

"This place was great. A little smaller than the photo's show, but will fit 4 people comfortably. It is definitely a ski in, but you pretty well have to walk a bit to ski out. Either way it's a short hike >5min so not bad. We really enjoyed it."

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Travel Tips

Experience True Champagne Powder at Kicking Horse Vacation Rentals

For almost everyone, the vision of a perfect getaway involves vast expanses of sparkly white stuff. Exactly what that white stuff is, however, is more open to interpretation than one might think. Lots of people would assume it to be sand that borders bright blue ocean waters. But for many others, it’s snow. And not just any kind of snow—champagne powder. Snow of the lightest and fluffiest variety; snow that glitters like diamonds in sunlight. If you’re someone who dreams fondly of blizzards in July, Kicking Horse vacation rentals could provide you a place of bliss. Known to some as the champagne powder capital of Canada, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in British Columbia has enough sparkly white stuff to satisfy even the most die-hard skiers and riders.

Ski or Ride World-Class Terrain

With its 8,033-foot summit catching about 23 feet of snow on a yearly basis, you’d be hard-pressed to find better skiing and snowboarding conditions than the ones just outside the door of your Kicking Horse accommodations. People of all ages and skill levels are welcome to enjoy the powder—from toddlers to adults, and beginners to experts. There’s something for everyone to be found among Kicking Horse’s 106 runs. Nestled in a mountain environment steeped in history and culture, ski and snowboard enthusiasts flock to the area to take their turns in the powder, whether it be from a helicopter down a backcountry slope, or at the resort itself.

Find Your Very Own Winter Wonderland

When it comes to British Columbia Rockies lodging, there’s no better way to go than to book yourself a Kicking Horse vacation rental. After a long, exhilarating day on the slopes, coming home to a cozy, private home where you can put your feet up and relax truly makes your champagne powder-filled dreams come true.
