  • A week in Wonderland!

"This little hideaway is a beautifully secluded spot to watch the amazing Bay of Fundy/Passamaquaddy Bay ecosystem. We were lucky enough to have a full moon reflecting on the bay! Wow comes to mind when I think about the incredible view. The house is clean and well kept although the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and the dryer had towels which were dry and I left folded. No big deal! I noticed a cigarette burn on the sofa which was sad as the owner specifically asks for no smoking. Again, no big deal! I did suggest to the owner that he include exit numbers in his directions. One day we missed them (completely our fault, I think because we were not sure what we were looking for) and ended up back at the border. Apparently, it's a common problem according to the immigration official! We loved the walks around the lake, so secluded and beautiful. St Andrew's is convenient and lovely. There's a HUGE grocery shop in St George which had everything one could possibly need. The chocolate shop was a bit overrated. St. John is worth a visit. The mall can be traversed through over the road walkways and is big as well as noisy. That's where the visitors center and the Museum of New Brunswick are located. The t John market was disappointing but the Fredericton Saturday market was an adventure in itself."

  • Rosy and family

"We loved this spot, clean, comfortable and very friendly - like we were staying with family. The owner went out of her way to accomodate our schedule, make us wonderful breakfasts and sweets and provide us with suggestions for touring the area. Our son felt like he had a new grandmother. The views were spectacular - some of the best I have ever experienced. Thanks May - hope to see you again soon."

  • Shhh.....Don't tell EVERYONE!

"This was an ideal place for our family. This clean, comfortable, airy home is situated directly overlooking the Bay of Fundy in Beaver Harbor. The property is phenomenal, having several areas to sit and overlook the swelling of the tides, as well as access to two private rocky beaches which are wonderful places to look for sea glass, sit and read or build a fire. Highway One is not even 10 minutes away, giving you quick, easy access to day tripping in St. Georges, St. Martin, The Fundy Trail, Deer or Campobello Island. (My recommendation is to go to The Fundy Trail and go to the Hearst Lodge...a fun experience). The house itself has a good amount of space, the kitchen well stocked with equipment (coffee maker, Kitchen Aid mixer, nice knives and pans, microwave, etc...) and is decorated well. If you are considering traveling to New Brunswick I can not more highly recommend that you consider staying at this fantastic home."
