  • Loved it!

"We just stayed in this glorious place for the 2nd time and we loved it again. Right at Tamarindo Beach and we never needed a car. We were a party of 6 and were very comfortable. We love the pool. We barbecued several times and this wonderful place was affordable. We looked forward to the sunsets on the balcony and terrific views. We never stayed at a better place and the pool is awesome. We’ll be back next year again. Ted S"

  • Beautiful condo in a great location!

"We stayed for 11 days back in June-July. The interior of the condo is beautiful- nice, modern wood furnishing (teak native to Costa Rica), great appliances (altho the ice dispenser in the fridge didn't work), roomy kitchen, nice stereo, great AC. The wireless internet is a bit weak, but works. E-mail and Facebook are fine, no Netflix. A couple of friends stayed in the second bedroom- it has its own bathroom and is on the opposite end of the unit. The listing and photos were accurate and up to date. The staff are very friendly and very on top of things and keep the place spotless. We arranged a few trips (definitely go zip lining at Arenal, Nicaragua was cool) through the front desk which worked out well. Sebastian recommended a great trip to Playas Minas, which is incredibly beautiful and empty during the week. We had the beach to ourselves. The management (Bob) was very straightforward, easy to deal with and responded promptly to inquiries. The location was a real winner as it was just far enough from town to not be crazy, but a very close walk. The last bit of road is not paved, but the beach is a better walk anyways. The condos on the water look outdated. Not this one- it's across the road from the beach, but you have access to Langosta Beach Club, a great facility- gym, large cabanas, large in-ground pool, and a great bar with good food (especially chipotle sauce). The staff is very friendly. There is also surfboards, paddleboards, and wakeboards available for rental and lessons. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants- we preferred the local type food. Nogui's has great seafood. The Italian place has great breakfast. The Argentinian place was okay, the milaneses were our favorite. We really enjoyed Vulcano also. We went fishing with Pedro, which was a small boat but a lot of fun and reasonably priced. We rented a car for the drive down, and stopped at the automercado, which is really a great store. It has a good selection of fish and meat, and a wide variety of beer. We didn't visit the store that is closer to the condo but were told it was more limited. We took a shuttle bus on the way back to the airport. The JetBlue lines were very short compared to others. Overall, we had a great time and were very pleased with condo, building, location, and beach club. We would definitely recommend / go back again- I didn't see anywhere nearby that looked as good. We were absolutely pleased with our choice."

  • Best Family Get Away

"We are a family of 5 and stayed here in mid August. First of all the property was exactly as listed, which is always a concern when booking on line. The owner was very helpful to us and everything was as he stated. The condo was very clean and homely. Tamarindo itself was what we expected. We had great fun learning how to surf, and enjoyed a day of zip lining which was a great adventure. The town is about a 15 minute walk which we enjoyed everyday. We cooked at home a lot and loved getting the fresh fish and vegetables locally. There is a quality supermarket about 10 mins away by car and a local mini mart around the corner. All in all we had a wonderful time and would go back in the future. Dan , Marie & sons."

  • Fabulous Condo!!

"Out family of 5 (three young kids all under age 7) recently spent 4 days at this great condo. It was perfect. The pictures really don't do the place justice. The condo was a lot bigger than we imaged and the balconies were a huge plus. We ate all our meals outside on the main deck and we used the deck off the master for afternoon reading and cocktail hour. The condo was fully stocked with all the little things needed but not thought of – towels, kitchen spices, plastic wrap, etc. This is an end unit which is great for privacy and not sharing walls. The condo is very nicely decorated and has very comfortable sofas, beds and outdoor furniture. It was also nice that one of the guest rooms had two queen beds. The condo could sleep 8 people. Our kids really loved the pool (massive) and we usually have the entire pool to ourselves (we stayed in August during the low season). But it was nice that the pool bar was open to get drinks. It was an easy 3 minute walk to the other hotel pools and beach. The location of the condo is great in that you don't need a rental car and can walk to all the restaurants, shops, bars. The Lyrics office were easy to work with and we would highly recommend this condo."
