"We had the pleasure to stay with Gary & Jolene for ten days and rented both of the casitas. The are truly spectacular and both very unique. My wife and I stayed in the one with the private backyard garden oasis and we let our kids have the one overlooking the pool. We were very happy with both of the casitas and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. The casitas are just a short walk to the beach and downtown Tamarindo. We did not get a rental car during our stay and one is really not needed due to the location of this property. Brooks took the kids spearfishing one day and offshore fishing another day. I would highly recommend both as Brooks is a fantastic guide. Maria cooks the most wonderful breakfast Monday-Friday! The banana pancakes are to die for. Our only regret was we did not get to spend more time with Gary & Jolene as they are truly wonderful and special people."Guest: Mark & Amy Cuilla Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: September 7, 2014View listing
"My wife and I rented penthouse on nthe beach with another couple. We were absolutely thrilled with the condo itself which was spacious and very well appointed. The onsite staff as well as the management company were very friendly and responsive to our needs. The pool area was wonderful with shaded areas as well as sun. The condo is located about a mile outside Tamarindo which can be walked. There are a couple restaurants about a half mile away. There is also a wonderful bed and breakfast close by which caters to breakfast only people as well as people staing there. A small grocery store is also close by. This was undoubtedly the best beach vacation we have ever had and highly recommend this property!"Guest: Dave D Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 7, 2014View listing
"Out family of 5 (three young kids all under age 7) recently spent 4 days at this great condo. It was perfect. The pictures really don't do the place justice. The condo was a lot bigger than we imaged and the balconies were a huge plus. We ate all our meals outside on the main deck and we used the deck off the master for afternoon reading and cocktail hour. The condo was fully stocked with all the little things needed but not thought of – towels, kitchen spices, plastic wrap, etc. This is an end unit which is great for privacy and not sharing walls. The condo is very nicely decorated and has very comfortable sofas, beds and outdoor furniture. It was also nice that one of the guest rooms had two queen beds. The condo could sleep 8 people. Our kids really loved the pool (massive) and we usually have the entire pool to ourselves (we stayed in August during the low season). But it was nice that the pool bar was open to get drinks. It was an easy 3 minute walk to the other hotel pools and beach. The location of the condo is great in that you don't need a rental car and can walk to all the restaurants, shops, bars. The Lyrics office were easy to work with and we would highly recommend this condo."Guest: Kim W. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 17, 2014View listing
"Four of us stayed at this charming villa for three weeks. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The entire area is a very quiet, comfortable location with great walking access to the beach and the Marriott Hotel with it's 5 restaurants! Our days fell into a comfortable routine of early morning walks, leisurely breakfasts on the patio, lazing by the pool and reading all afternoon, and either cooking our own dinners or going to a local restaurant. We varied things occasionally by trips to Lola's for lunch or Villa Deevena for a gourmet French dinner. The Villa was comfortably furnished, just like the pictures, and provided both group spaces and individual retreats. Jennifer, the local manager, was a gem and even got us a flat screen TV so we could use Apple TV to watch movies and TV shows we didn't want to miss. She also responded immediately with a new toaster when the old one broke. We have already signed up for next year -- being from the frozen North, we all look forward to our warm weather break! We've stayed at several other locations on the Pacific Coast, but this was our favorite by far."Guest: Judith V. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 27, 2014View listing
Tamarindo Travel Tips
An Unforgettable Trip to Tamarindo Beach Rentals
Who does not dream of unforgettable vacations, especially in a tropical paradise? If you are looking for such a trip then vacations in Costa Rica may be your answer. In Costa Rica, you have different provinces to choose from, including the Guanacaste Province in northwestern Costa Rica. In this area, you will find Tamarindo Beach rentals. The sandy beach may be just a few feet from your back door and you'll find surfing opportunities you will never forget. As you sit on the deck of Tamarindo resorts, you can look out at the Pacific Ocean for whales as well.
Tamarindo Resorts Are Easily Accessible
Tamarindo is a larger city in the province due in part to its accessibility. Flights and private charters can reach Tamarindo resorts by way of the International Airport in Liberia. It is 45 minutes from Tamarindo Beach rentals. In the town, you will pass by small stores, restaurants, and souvenir locations which you will want to visit at least once. Vacations in Costa Rica like those in Tamarindo ensure you have all the amenities at your accommodations, as well as in town.
Vacations in Costa Rica at Cape Sailfish
Tamarindo Beach runs along a section of bay formed by Cabo Velas or Cape Sailfish. To the north of Tamarindo resorts is Playa Grande which is inside the bay. Two beaches in this area are separated by a saltwater estuary called Estero Tamarindo; to the south of the bay, you'll find Playa Langosta. Vacations in Costa Rica are not complete without a stop at both beaches, especially because they are preserves for the giant leatherback sea turtle. If you visit between October and March, you will see the turtles come on shore at night to lay eggs.
