  • Wonderful christmas

"We had a really wonderful icelandic christmas with my family (9 persons) at Thorey's place. She is such a warm and welcoming hostess, we can only recommend you to go to her place. Even with the sometimes difficult road conditions in winter we could visit many places all around south-iceland and we had the chance to see the most beautiful polar lights just in front of the house."

  • Great property and location

"The location of the property was perfect - near restaurants, sites and transit. The place was clean and roomy - lovely view of the water. The host Sveinn was prompt in answering our questions and we highly recommend his jeep tours."

  • Winter in the center of Reykjavik

"Wonderful little Icelandic cottage in a perfect location for downtown Reykjavik. It's walking distance to shopping, restaurants, tours, groceries, concert hall, etc. Easily comfortable for 2-4 people, and it's equipped for eating-in (which we took advantage of at times). Lots of large windows allow for much light in the cottage, even in the heart of the darker Northern winter."

  • Lovely coastside retreat

"I booked this location for a short stay where my friends and I could make a base to see the south coast of Iceland. Stokkseyri is a small town that relies on Selfoss (10km) for many markets and services. The town is even quieter and more charming a a result. The house is very well equipped and nice. Kristin and her parents are sweet and accommodating. They communicated well and provided much helpful information prior to and during the stay. The nearby lobster restaurant was a treat...the local lobster is sweet and tender and the lobster soup makes my mouth water even now."
