  • Perfect!

"My daughter and I stayed here for a week, and we LOVED it! The owner has thought of everything, in order to make your stay feel like you are at home.the apartment is very nicely decorated, and very comfortable. I was very pleased to see that the kitchen included small appliances as well, such as a blender, crockpot, juicer, toaster, etc... This place is very near shopping, lots of restaurants, and it's only 10-minutes from Warner Bros and Universal Studios. We would definitely stay here again, if we come back for another visit."

  • Perfect for a small family!

"Thank you to Laura and Chuck for your warm welcome to the Claremont neighborhood. We had a lovely time in your house and thoroughly enjoyed the space with our two small boys. There were so many parks and eateries within easy walking distance that even though I didn't have a stroller it was very easy to get around. The apartment itself was perfect fit for us, with enough private space that we could have guests while the kids slept. We loved the old charm of the clawfoot tub and the angled ceilings. Laura and Chuck were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. Thank you for sharing your home!"

  • Awesome vacation rental in the heart of Avalon!

"This was an amazing vacation rental. We had 2 families sharing this 4 bd/4 ba house. It's in the heart of Avalon so we could walk anywhere we wanted to go. The top deck was wonderful for Happy Hour and watching sunset. The kitchen was big enough to sit around and play board games. Living room was another great gathering spot. The grown ups especially appreciated two full masters (king beds, separate baths). This house has everything you need when you're in Catalina!"

  • Nice Place!

"Hi Adrian. We just wanted to say thanks for letting us stay in The Art Colony Beach House! We had a great time revisiting Venice Beach, and staying in such a nice place so close to the beach helped make it so. The Art Colony apartment was a little big for just the two of us, as it has three bedrooms. However, this place would be great for several couples, families, or a small group of tourists, artists, what have you. The long kitchen counter is great, and the dining room table would make for a nice dinner gathering. We ate breakfast one morning on the rear balcony and enjoyed the large table back there as well. We enjoyed staying in an apartment that felt like an art studio. Although there is art on the walls, it still felt like a normal home. I liked staying in the master bedroom with the balcony off the front. It gives a lush and tropical feel while stepping onto it for some fresh, beach air. The attached garage made it convenient for us to jet off into the city for the day, or up the coast to Malibu for a scenic drive and seafood. We did use the fireplace on one cool, evening. This was cool to do while staying near the beach. We enjoyed the fire with some wine from a local place on nearby Rose Ave. I even browsed a few books in your interesting library. Good stuff. We did miss the full access to cable TV, but we found other great stuff to do. Thanks again for making such a great vacation place, and for offering it to us! See you soon. Have a good one. Mike & Chel"
