Rachel and her Pups are wonderful hosts, super sweet and welcoming! If you want to be off the beaten path, away from city life, but also have the perfect blend of mountains and beach time, this is the perfect stay for you! Their guest house is cozy, it’s clean and perfect for a long weekend. The pool and hot tub are wonderful ways to end a long day. Can’t wait to stay again next time!

We loved our quiet and peaceful stay at this property. It was beautiful and everything was as described. We enjoyed time in the hot tub and dipped our toes in the pool. Nice temp but not much time for swimming. We felt like we had plenty of privacy and never saw the hosts during our stay though knew they were a text away if we needed anything.

Rachel’s property was beautiful! We loved how close it was to Malibu and the drive into more populated areas wasn’t bad at all - how can one complain about the drive/views through the mountains! It was a great spot for relaxation and peace!

Host was very gracious and kind; the doggies were also very sweet and the place had a great outdoor set up with pool and hot tub with great Mountain Views. Located between Santa Monica and Malibu, convenient for visitors looking to go up and down the coastline with a mountain feel. Topanga has a great little town with food about 8 mins from the property with a state park right up the street. The property is not private, you will be greeted in person from the host daily and you share an outdoor space with host and dogs. The property is on septic. Parking is curbside and shared with host and host guests.

We were in Los Angeles for work, took a few days and escaped here for a sorely needed break. Area hiking trails nearby plus the ocean just down the canyon proved to be just the trick. Would recommend to anyone in a similar position (or not). A pool and hot tub just outside the door was the cherry on top. Thanks again. A beautiful, quiet spot.

It was as described, the hot tub was wonderful to relax in, the grounds were beautiful! Rachel gave wonderful recommendations for hikes and Malibu beaches which were beautiful. She was quick to reply to any texts, and ensured we would fine the home on arrival.

Everything was immaculate. The pool was well maintained throughout our stay, and the yard truly felt like our own little paradise. As someone who loves birds, I was especially thrilled by the variety we saw — and even their sounds were different from back home, which made it such a special treat.The location was perfect — surrounded by nature and so peaceful. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind. We would absolutely stay again!
