"We arrived at 2.00pm when check in was at 4.00pm so I asked Patty if there was a possibility for us 5 (amongst us 2 ladies ages 80 and 73) just to pop in to leave or luggage and come back after 4.00 The answer was yes but the cost would be of 50$ !!!!! "it is for the inconvenience of the house keeper, since she has to work around the luggage" !!!
I doubt the housekeeper got a cent from this money.
Nevertheless I must say we enjoyed the house which was exaclty as we expected, with a fantastic view, charming neighbourhood, shops 10mn walking. Reaching dowtown takes a bit of time but we knew that before renting the apartment. It was not a problem for us.
Bedding was very confortable.
Now a few things I wouldn't have mentioned if I hadn't had pay this extra charge:
we kept the toilet doorhandle in hand when closing door. We had the same problem with the tap handle, same room. The pans handles were sticky and a there were a few stains on the walls probably left by travellers luggage as well as some handprints.
The facade needs to be repainted, the painting is peeling (one can consider it gives charm to the property).
We have never met the person in charge of the property nor the owner."

"I highly recommend this property. The cottage is GREAT and my 6-night stay was wonderful. The bed is super comfortable. The kitchen was handy and stocked with many thoughtful extras like farm-fresh eggs, cream, butter, bread and wild flowers - WOW!!!! The washer/dryer works well and made packing easier. The cottage is affordable, adorable, and convenient - an easy, 10-minute drive to downtown. There were 4 Adirondack chairs in front for some wine and conversation in the evening, plus a patio table with 4 chairs in back. I loved all the farm life [cats, dogs, chickens, and sheep] and the 'you are home' feeling."

"We spent two wonderful nights here. The house is absolutely beautiful, new and clean. The hosts grreeted us with organge juice, muffins and bananas for breakfast....and s bottle of champagne. Such a pleasant unexpected surprise. The front and back gardens are amazingly beautiful with tons of flowers and plants. Jacuzzi complemented the wonderful stay. "We were looking for a place that was close to the beach where our son's wedding was planned. We found this "PearL" of a place within walking distance to Muir Beach. The home was very clean, very well stocked and wonderfully decorated for a home rental. We have rented homes before and found many to be drab and spartan. This home was a home. We found everything we needed to get ready for our son's wedding on the beach and when we had forgotten our iron, the owner was at the home within 15 minutes with an iron. Can you believe it, someone who cared about her clients. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. We slept 6 without a problem. I would reccommend this home to anyone. We will stay here again if we come back to the coast of Northern California."
