"This condo is in a great location for everything we wanted to visit in Denver - the Capitol, Supreme Court Building, Denver Art Museum, Public Library, Byers-Evans House, CELL, History Colorado, Molly Brown House, and the free bus that goes up and down the 16th St Mall is close by. In fact, we pretty much parked our car in the paid lot at the end of the block and left it there most of our stay (and Ubered to the Rockies game and the Denver Botanical Garden for a concert.)
The condo itself was spotlessly clean, and was well-appointed with everything we needed, including a washer and dryer that was wonderful, so we could pack less! Bed was comfy. We didn't cook, but kitchen appeared to be well-stocked. Bath was a good size. WIFI was super fast. All in all, it was nice to have enough space to spread out a bit versus a hotel room. It is a downstairs unit, but we didn't find noise from our neighbors intrusive. The decor was charming. Parking is available on the street if you keep an eye out, but with the paid lot being right at the end of the block, we just did that.
The Capitol Hill neighborhood is great - mostly older, historic apartment buildings and condos. Very walkable. We live in a house, in a neighborhood, in a small town, at home, so we enjoyed experiencing what urban living must be like!
We found some great restaurants in the area. For breakfast, coffee/pastries at Roostercat, vegetarian breakfast (we found out after we had been seated, to my husband's horror - HA!) at City 'O City, or Sassafras. Other yummy places were DiFranco's (great Italian, and we got 10% off by checking in on Yelp), NuHu Mongolian grill (quick but good), the Yard house (uptown), and 5280 Burger Bar (uptown).
There is more to explore in Denver, so we will be back, and we will (hopefully!) stay here again. We loved it!"
