"I needed to get away from the stresses of everyday life and this place was perfect. We arrived outside of the peak lake season and the area was so quiet -- just what I needed. The kitchen had everything I needed, beds were comfy and my dog loved the lake. Spent a quiet morning kayaking over to one of the islands. Nearby Hartwell is a very enjoyable town. Owner has a great selection of music to enjoy. Owner was very responsive when I had a small issue."

"My wife and I wanted a quiet, close getaway for during the week. We picked this place so we can bring our dog. We will be empty nesters very soon, so we're losing our pet sitter. It was easy to find and very relaxing. Our oldest son and his wife surprised us by showing up for the remaining days. The living room kitchen area is bigger than in the pictures, so lots of space to play games and watch T.V. The dock was beautiful and clean as well as the inside. We had a bonfire and played some cornhole, and enjoyed grilling a eating outside. We will be back again !!!!"

"We traveled to Georgia so I could fish in a national fishing tournament in Lake Hartwell. I wanted to take my wife and 2 dogs and was very glad to find this home which accepted dogs. The home was just as advertised, located directly on a cove on the lake with a nice dock and free boat launch approx. 5 minutes away. The home has plenty of room, very comfortable and decorated nicely. Clearly set up for out of town folks - extra towels, all switches marked, notes as appropriate, washer / dryer, empty draws for your clothing , full satellite TV and full internet service!.
Neighborhood was pleasant and we met several neighbors who were very friendly and helpful. I have a new Bass boat and was concerned about leaving it at the home when not in the water prior to arriving. ( had nothing to do with the home but most guys are generally concerned about their boat and tackle when left at hotels) After spending a day at the home I had no concerns and no issues the entire trip. ( we were there for 9 days)
Stephanie & Cameron (spelling?) , the home owners, were very friendly through the rental process and in answering the several questions we had once we arrived.
I would recommend this home to all and look forward to returning in the future!
Thanks again for allowing us to stay with out dogs!"

"My husband and 2 of his former Notre Dame roommates (one lives in Dallas, Texas, the other in Palo Alto, Cal)get together every year for a ND game. Every other year we go on a road trip instead of revisiting campus, and this year we decided to go the the ND/Clemson game.
It was the weekend of the "storm of the century", the power went out and ND lost but we had a great time inspite of the weather and the loss. The house was our refuge for 4 days. It was located on a great lot on Lake Hartwell. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was a must. The kitchen was very well equipped and we ate in every morning, and one evening. There were three great gathering areas, 2 inside (one up and one down) and 1 outside on the 2 level dock. The downstairs also had a play area - ping pong and pool table inside and a hot tub outside. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the outside area due to the bad weather but I would love to return with family during warmer weather to take advantage of all the lake offers. It would be great for kids of all ages, and for adults of all ages also.
The owners were easy to work with and were nice enough to mail us an item which was left behind. Thanks for sharing you lovely home!"
