"This place was amazing! Can't beat the location!! So nice being so close to the beach. Great snorkeling. Beautiful condo. Nicely decorated and well cared for. Owners were wonderful! We departed for the island knowing 2 hurricanes were forecast during our stay. Owners kept in contact with us the entire time. They were available to answer our concerns and questions."Guest: bekki b. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 13, 2014View listing
"The Lu'uwai Mekena Landing home was perfect in every way! Celebrated my twin grandsons 1st birthday here. Nine adults and four children, very comfortable rooms that accommodated our group wonderfully. The kitchen is well stocked and a joy to prepare food in. We enjoyed the beautiful yard, amazing view and fun in the ocean. Highly recommended."Guest: MARTHA D. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 21, 2014View listing
"Stayed 3 nights in this amazing condo in July. Very spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen with top of the line appliances, including a great outdoor BBQ grill. Corner unit with wraparound lanai is amazing for dining, watching sunsets and lounging. Loved the walk-out to grassy area above the beach. Two beaches accessible via short walk from back door. Was a little concerned about the condition of the bathrooms, since there were no pictures posted on site, but was pleasantly surprised - they were both very nice. Also, a few furniture upgrades not reflected in site pictures. Everything is top notch. Only complaint is air conditioning didn't work very well. Had difficulty getting it to bring temp under 76, so sleeping was uncomfortable."Guest: Neal M. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 26, 2014View listing
"This place is a hidden gem. As you walk through the front door you are greeted with a stunning view of the ocean. If you like to snorkel/dive right off of the beach, look no further. They call the area Turtle Town for good reason, we saw turtles every time we snorkeled from the beach. Just 200 yards offshore there is a reef full of all types of fish and turtles. This is where the boats pull just offshore and anchor with their divers in the mid-morning. If you like sunsets, this is also the place. We made a point every night to sit on the porch or walk the beach and watch the Hawaian sunsets. This is a very quiet/secluded location, away from the big hotels and crowds, but close to shopping and restaurants. The accomodations are very nice. Large bedrooms, great living area for you and guests, and a nicely appointed kitchen. There are tennis courts and a pool right outside your door. The property manager checked throughout the week to make sure everything was in order. The state park is just down the street. Also, if you like to walk/run there are good areas to do that right from the condo."Guest: tom t. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 17, 2014View listing
