"I cannot imagine staying in a nicer place than this unit. Absolutely everything was top of the line and it felt like a luxury hotel. The only problem we had were with the toilets but they were promptly fixed by the management so should not be a problem again. One of the best things is that it had all the beach necessities needed - beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, even some snorkel gear. The location on the beach is so close that you feel like you are on the beach while relaxing on the comfy lounge chairs on the balcony. The sunsets are amazing and we got to watch several weddings and photography sessions as the beach is so lovely. The unit is also right next to the pool and tennis court and the grounds of the complex are beautiful. The beach felt like your own private beach since there were usually only a few families out at a time. Snorkeling is great right off the beach and you will most certainly see giant turtles! Would definitely stay in this unit again on our next trip to Maui!"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 15, 2014View listing
"Our family was in Maui in October. The condo was fabulous! The best stocked condo we have ever stayed at, from sunscreen to coolers for the beach, they met all of our needs. The management and grounds staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was A+, the beach was right below us and another larger beach was just a few steps away. The condo was clean, well maintained and very comfortable, I would highly recommend this condo to anyone"Guest: Rachel Date of Stay: October 2011 Review Submitted: December 5, 2011View listing
"Can not say enough glowing remarks about the unit and property. The pictures do not do it justice. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, state of the art entertainment center, safe, washer and dryer, and even a numerical keypad entry so you don't have to worry about a key. The glass doors in the front fold into the walls and the front is totally open to the ocean. Had a relaxing stay with our 3 kids which is amazing in itself. The unit was spotless and all communication I had with the property manager Maria was prompt and professional and she went out of her way to make our vacation spectacular. Loved it!"Guest: Brigette B. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 19, 2014View listing
"Family of four adults, saved for vacation over a year and had plenty of time to do research for the perfect location. We found that perfect house on a perfect setting with this cottage. If this house is available in the timeframe you will visit, do not hesitate because it will book long in advance. It is special enough to book your travel around the availability of the house! The walk to beach, Makena Landing, is where divers, snorkelers, kayakers, paddle boarders set out from. Off the point is an area known as "turtle town", a turtle cleaning station where wrasse fish clean algae off the turtles. While we watched from the cottage lanai, a large whale did seven successive "tail stand slaps" in the same area. Closer to shore are the "five caves" where divers frequent. From the house we only could make to the first one before our air ran low. The reef behind the house keeps people at bay yet allows to to watch the activities at the landing. The reef is home to several turtles with distinctive enough markings that we could nick name them as they fed close in at sun up each morning. Sometimes one would follow us while we snorkeled. The many spiny sea urchins have kept people from trampling the reef so the sea life is tremendous. One afternoon Spinner dolphins escorted a small boat just off the reef for 15 minutes before moving on. Our next trip to town we bought binoculars and left them behind for future guests in hopes they get the same joy we did. Listening to the ocean at night is magical and made more special by the family of deer that live in the area. A four point buck and five others came in the yard when we first arrived. We could find them every night by walking the neighborhood early evenings. The owners are super communicators and make sure everything is perfect. It doesn't get any better!"Guest: barnacle bill Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 23, 2014View listing
