"We rented this cabin to attend open house at nearby Western Carolina University. The cabin was a short 20 minutes from campus. After a busy day of touring the campus, we were able to relax on the porches and/or sit on a stump in the middle of the island in the river below. The view, complete with sound effects, was amazing and was enjoyed by the whole family. My husband, who is usually ready to leave before we ever reach our destination, didn't want to leave! The owner was quick to respond to inquiries and the manager with very helpful as well. Our family looks forward to renting this cabin again over the next 4 years."

"We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is centrally located Cherokee, Dillsboro, Bryson City, and Maggie Valley. Which meant we did not spend all day on the road to go do things. The cabin is well equipped with linens, wood for the fire place and the little things that you might forget. It was just what my husband and I needed. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We plan on returning."

"We had the best 2 weeks ever. From the great weather to the roosters crowing, the birth of a new baby goat. So grateful for the times we have spent here and wish you all the best. Hope to visit when we come north again. Your family is such a treasure. Thank you, Gary for all the good conversation and history you shared."

"Quiet, peaceful but you can hear the creek running. The home was extremely clean and well equipped. There are 4 full sized bedrooms, we had a party of 7 and there were 4 queen size beds. We loved the large rocking chairs on the covered porch. The fireplace in the living-room was great. Our children enjoyed catching frogs at the ponds. Our group stayed for a week and we will book again next year."
