"Pack light, because Julie has made your stay easy! All the linens, a fridge of condiments, and a rack of spices!
Super close to the water, and a very short drive to Magee marsh if you are in to birds and beach glass!
Will definitely rent again!!!"

"A great hangout for seven or eight guys for a weekend bible study retreat in the dead of winter! Six twins and two pull out couch beds made for a great weekend! Right across the street from some really good hiking in a waterfowl preserve! The cabin was super clean and everything worked as advertised, we stayed plenty warm, cooked a few meals, and had a great time! Owners made it all too easy, very hospitable! Would recommend highly and will return again some day soon!"

"Our large family (11 adults plus three young children) had a great time at the lakeside house. Having the beach at our doorstep meant that we pretty much stayed put and just enjoyed the weather and waterside living. Many of the bedrooms are super-sized with a lot of room to spread out. There even was a bedroom downstairs (and nearby bathroom) that would accommodate anyone with mobility impairments. There seem to be TVs everywhere but we only used a couple of them. There is room for five cars in the wide driveway which was perfect for us.
The downside was that there were not enough pictures of the interior posted and even when we requested them, nothing came our way. I personally like to get a better feel for the property before arrival. We were also promised information about local attractions, but that didn't show up either. Nevertheless, we had done enough of our own research to know how close we were to local attractions.
For those who like to get out and see the area a little, Port Clinton and Sandusky are an easy 30-minute drive east. Nature-lovers can head west to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, a short drive away.
Given the size of our family, I'd go back again if I could get everyone on board. It's hard to find that one-week vacation consensus from our large clan in a timely enough fashion. I did get a lot of kudos from our family for finding this place though. It was a hit."
