  • Perfect spot for our celebration!

"We absolutely loved this beautiful home. It was perfect for our celebratory weekend getaway with three other couples. Where do I start? The setting is fantastic, nestled into the trees on the side of the mountain with views into the valley below, you feel secluded and part of nature. The floor to ceiling windows, the woodwork throughout the house, and the cathedral open ceilings all combine to connect you with the world outside, from the comfort of the warm home. The accommodations were spacious for everyone. We had four couples and everyone had their own room with queen or king beds. Had we brought kids there’d have been room for them in additional rooms. The master suite is more of a master floor - with walk-in closet space and a luxurious master bath with its own birdseye view of the mountain. The kitchen and living area was great for our group. The kitchen is fully appointed with all the latest amenities: a 12 (!) burner gas stove, beautiful countertops to prepare meals, and plenty of pots, pans, dishes, knives, etc. All we needed to bring was the food. A huge table that seats 12-14 people made a nice gathering spot, but there are also two fireplaces downstairs (we didn’t use them as it was warm) and a desk with it’s own view of the valley. We felt welcomed by our hosts, we were met and given a tour by Missy who was incredibly friendly and helpful, we found everything we needed including sheets, towels, dishes, gas-grill, working WiFi, sound system and TV with cable. We hope to return someday!"

  • Hated to Leave!!

"My family of four stayed in this apartment for four days. Every possible thing we could need was in the apartment. There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher, towels, pots & pans, TV with cable, comfortable beds and space to just sit and relax. The best part were the views out the windwos of the Green Mountains! Simply breathtaking. Brigid and David were friendly and helpful. They gave us great directions to get around. It felt like home for four days. Can't wait to go back!"

  • Ideal for long weekend

"A perfect place for a long weekend at Okemo. Plenty of room for two adults, two children and the dog ! Excellent location - really couldn't be any easier ! And made all the better by having a flexible departure time ! No midday checkout meant we could have a full day of skiing and then relax, pack and freshen up before the long journey home. Would definitely recommend staying here and imagine we will be back !"

  • Amazing! Secluded but close to everything!

"This place was amazing! When you're sitting out on the porch it feels very secluded - hardly saw any cars on the street - but it is only a 5 minute drive from Main Street where you will find grocery stores, restaurants etc... (Be sure to have dinner at The Downtown Grocery while you are in town. It was one of the most amazing meals we've ever had!). The cabin was very clean and well equipped! The living room sofas are super-comfortable, the WiFi connects automatically and the TV gets pretty much every channel (the only time we really turned it on was for the World Cup games, but it was so nice to know that we could get them with no trouble at all). There was plenty of room for our group of 7 people. It was great being able to use the grill and kitchen so that we could save money and not eat out for every meal. The hot tub was the best feature of the log home. It's huge and SO relaxing! Going out there after dark just to stare at the open sky was our favorite thing to do! Our second favorite feature was the fire pit. Roasting marshmallows and chatting over a campfire is a great way to spend an evening in Vermont. If I only had one little criticism of the place, it would be the shower heads (or lack thereof). The downstairs shower was just OK, but wasn't great. The upstairs one produced more of a 'mist'. Making the small upgrade to new shower heads would make this place truly perfect! I also want to mention that Lisa, the housekeeper, was super-sweet and very helpful when I had to call and ask about the hot tub cleanser. She even offered to come out and help, but we were able to talk through it on the phone. I really appreciated having someone locally that can help if necessary. We will definitely return (though, if it is in the winter, we will definitely bring our 4 wheel-drive vehicle instead...I can't imagine getting up these roads when they're covered in snow)!"
