  • Beautiful & Accessible

"We totally enjoyed our 3 nights at this unique & beautifully decorated log cabin. My daughter is wheelchair dependent and the cabin's accessibility was great. The easy access entrance ramp, doorways and bathroom facilities and shower offered NO barriers for maneuverability. The cabin is immaculate and we felt right at home. We enjoyed a campfire every night, the hot tub, walks to the fishing pond and the great view of Kennedy Peak and the mountains. The cabin is fairly secluded but close enough to downtown Luray, Luray Caverns, George Washington National Forest and Skyline Drive with there many sites and hiking trails. This is a great place to stay especially for those with a disability. Thanks Annette for paying such special attention in making your beautiful log cabin accessible."

  • Perfect setting to tie the knot!

"We can't say enough good about the Rock! The views, the scenery, the tons of things to do on this property alone could keep you here for weeks. We are looking forward to a return visit. The cabin was cozy, the fishing was great, nice evening camp fires both by the water and cabin, grilled & soaked in the hot tub every day, took naps and ate our meals in the sleeping porch. Even saw Turkey. A great place to kick back relax and enjoy nature. So much of the 200 acres we didn't get to explore but plan on next time. Atv in the canyon, the shooting range and inner tubing are next on our list. Read all the reviews. Looks like lots of memories made here. We are glad we chose this location for our wedding. And the pictures are sure to turn out amazing! Jeff was quite accommodating especially prepping the grounds knowing we were getting married here. The cabin had everything in it you would need. Even the wild flowers came thru for us and made for a perfect bouquet. This is now a special place for us. One we will visit for years to come!"

  • Great vacation house

"My extended family from toddlers to an octogenarian had a wonderful week at Le Chalet. The large living room and downstairs game room gave us plenty of space to gather as a group or to find some separation occasionally. The kitchen is very well appointed and had everything we needed to cook meals for 11 people. Beautiful remodeled bathrooms. There's lots to do in the vicinity including a super water park, historic sites and a chance to hike the Appalachian Trail."

  • Peaceful and serene getaway spot.

"We loved our stay at Rose Hill. The owners were attentive and easy to work with, both before and after our stay, and it is evident that they love this home and want to share it with those who can appreciate it. The website gives a good indication of what to expect. The house is old and historic, so it has some quirks that make it an interesting place to stay, but the bathrooms and kitchen are modern. The sunny back porch was a delightful place to sit and watch the cows, donkey, woodchucks, and the spectacular mountain landscape. The well-equipped kitchen is beautiful, with nice appliances and ample work and storage space. Rose Hill was a great home base for exploring nearby Lexington and Staunton, as well as having access to numerous hiking trails. The house was clean and well maintained. The house is very close to I-81, so the road noise is always in the background, but the serenity of the spot is a wonderful place to rejuvenate the spirit."
