  • Incredible stay

"We were 7 guests (3 couples, and a last minute dad-in-town addition). The house was incredible! The photos honestly do not do it justice - it was spacious, had a well-appointed kitchen, and a little den nook with doors that would close, so we let dad blow up an air mattress in there for the night and find some privacy. The hot tub was a treat, as was the rowboat. The owners were extremely responsive, open to our last-minute changes, and accommodating of our labradoodles. All in all, a wonderful weekend and we plan to stay here again."

  • Girls's Getaway

"We rented this place for a Girls' Weekend Getaway. It was lovely! Very comfortable, well-lit, beautiful view of the water & the mountains lit up with a beautiful sunrise. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant below the apartment: The Front Street Grill, walking Main Street and driving around the town to look at the Victorian homes. If you have a car, go visit the Sunnyside Cemetery. Beautiful view of the shoreline and farm land. Owners were easy to work with and the Front Street Grill staff were very pleasant and polite. We ate supper there and ordered our dessert "to go". They wrapped it up on the plate so we could take it upstairs with us. The negatives were minimal: 1. that you could hear the happenings next door coming from the restaurant's office/storage room. This did not go on all night or even late into the evenimg but is noteworthy for awareness sake. 2. No access to washer/dryer as advertised- didn't need it but if it's advertised it needs to be available. We would reserve this again and I'd bring my husband and teens."

  • Cozy, private, convenient

"This cozy cottage was perfect for my writing retreat on Whidbey. It was quiet and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a creative and productive time. Even in January, the view of Penn Cove is exquisite. It’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants downtown as well as to a walking trail. The place was spotless, well-stocked with essentials (though I did bring my own coffee grinder), the bed was comfortable, and the owners were warm and responsive. I’m already planning a return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place."
