"We are locals who stayed here while some construction was done at our home. This charming 1912 bungalow changed that annoying inconvenience into a wonderful vacation. The bungalow is perfectly situated to explore the best of our Northwest. Right by Puget Sound, it provides panoramic views of the water, ferries, ships and sunsets as well as quick walking access to the Edmonds Ferry dock (gateway to the Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas) and Brackett's Landing beach with its underwater scuba marine park. A block further brings you to the pleasant downtown Edmonds with its many excellent restaurants and shops. Exploring Seattle's sights only requires a half hour car ride or hopping on the train at the Edmonds Station. A few hours in any direction gets you someplace interesting--from the Olympic Mountains to the Cascades or Mt Rainier. All from this relaxing, beautiful spot!"

Great house with amazing view and everything you could need!
"This is a great house with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time with family. The view is incredible and the lake area is awesome for swimming and hanging out. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need including lots of things for entertaining (perfect for our Fathers Day BBQ). We have a toddler and the house had a pack and play, booster chair, step stool and toys (so nice to not have to bring all that with you). The driveway was probably the only thing I didn't love but you get the hang of it after a day or two. Would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay here again next time I'm in WA!"

"My daughter and I had a delightful time staying at this cottage. After flying across the country and dealing with the holiday crowds, it was nothing short of heavenly to arrive at the cottage and unlock the door to the totally charming and soothing colors, lovely and comfy furniture, and pleasing layout of the cottage. Getting up in the morning and heading down to the little shopping area to visit the wonderful bakery for fresh baked muffins, we could hear seals out on the water, something we sure never hear here in the other Washington! We had a wonderful time and hated to leave. The neighbors couldn't be nicer, and there are marvelous walks in any direction. We will definitely be back, and would have happily stayed forever! The owner and her daughter were a pleasure to deal with, and everything was just as promised."

"Very homey property with fabulous views. After several days of touring Whidbey Island, it felt just like coming
home at the end of each day. The house is well-stocked and includes most of what is needed for cooking. You
only need to supply the food. Very comfortable bed in master. We slept like babies. It was helpful having 2-bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for three adults. It's all one level, but there are 2 steps up to the front porch. I'm sure we will stay here again on the next trip to Whidbey Island."
