"Our families could not have chosen a better cabin for our 4-day weekend getaway. The large cabin had plenty of rooms, a large living room area and a large kitchen and dining room, where we spent time playing board games and enjoying each others company. Having two bathrooms as well as a laundry room made it nice since we had multiple families for the stay. The fire pit area was perfect with plenty of room for 10+ people to sit around the camp fire every night. And the 40+ acres made it great for long walks in the woods, allowing the kids to explore nature.
We enjoyed being close to the Tygart Lake, where we rented a large pontoon boat for a day of cruising the lake, fishing and letting the kids swim. We also enjoyed the Tygart River as well as Laurel Creek which are very close.
We all loved this place, all had a great time, and will definitely return in the future!"

"My girlfriend and I have stayed at this cabin on two separate weekends, both of which were wonderful. It is the perfect romantic getaway for us as it is ver close to DC. The property is secluded and the house has all the comforts you need (nice kitchen, Internet, tv, games, books). There is a lot of great hiking in the immediate area and Wardensville has cute shops and restaurants. We ate at the lost river brewery every night. Brian is also super helpful and will take care of you. Only thing to note - there is limit cell service so be prepared."

"We had a fantastic stay in mid Feb. There were 3 families and we all fit comfortably. There is access to Cupp Run at the end of the street but if you call the shuttle it's usually there within 10 minutes. Taking the shuttle home is also very quick -- at the shuttle station just ask any bus driver to send a shuttle for South Westridge. The description is correct -- you really need 4WD for the driveway if there's snow. It's long and steep. We had to park at the bottom and carry all our things up. But the house is great and the views fantastic, so it's worth it!"
