A lovely place for some quiet time in nature

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage in La Calzada de Bejar. Check-in went well and the place has everything you'll need to be comfortable for a few days.

A lovely place in beautiful surroundings with Pilar being a lovely host. We felt very comfortable and welcome and could manage with basic communication in spite of the language barrier. The swimming pool was great to cool off with the weather being quite hot. Great opportunities for hiking and city/village visits nearby. Many natural swimming pools you can go to. Recommend an early breakfast on the terrace, bird sounds all over the place, some very special ones. All that was left to be desired is for us to learn spanish.

El lugar ideal para disfrutar en familia y con mascotas

Acabamos de pasar unos días maravillosos en esta casa, junto con nuestros dos pequeños y nuestros dos perros, y no podríamos estar más contentos. La casa estaba impecablemente limpia y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para disfrutar de una estancia cómoda y agradable. Además Pilar fue excepcional en su trato, siempre cercana y dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo momento. Se notaba su atención al detalle y su deseo de que nuestra experiencia fuera perfecta. Sin duda, es un lugar al que volveremos a repetir. ¡Altamente recomendado!

Estuvimos 2 noches cuatro personas con dos perritos y la estancia fue muy agradable. Pilar muy atenta con nosotros y la casa en muy buen estado. El único problema es que la señal wifi era muy débil y se pierde constantemente.

Spotless property in a tranquil setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. It was way above expectations. We had a great welcome from the host who made the start to our visit and indeed our whole stay very comfortable. We will miss sitting outside in the evening watching the birds roost and bats come out to feed. There are many things to discover in the immediate area and we feel that more visits will be required to see a little further afield. An excellent property to base oneself, highly recommended.
