The village house El Colladín is located in the town of Tielve, one of the 18 villages that make up the Cabrales council. Tielve is located in the heart of the Picos de Europa, declared a National Park in 1995. It enjoys a privileged situation just 45 minutes from the sanctuary of Covadonga and the Lakes, the beaches of Llanes and Cangas de Onís. Highlights its great proximity to the Route of Cares (10 min) and the Naranjo de Bulnes.

It is the perfect place to enjoy nature, plan excursions and enjoy absolute tranquility and a well-deserved rest.

The house belongs to a family of cheese tradition, a tradition that still remains, so our customers have the opportunity to see the artisan elaboration of Cabrales Cheese.

Nice house in quiet mountain village

Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away.

Very Pleasant Stay

The house is very spacious and comfortable. The hostess greeted us after we drove into the village and got us set up. She doesn't speak any English and none of us in our group speaks Spanish, so the communication was a little clumsy. But we managed. Guests should be aware that there is no cell signal or WiFi at this location. That was OK for us. It is a good location for hiking and otherwise seeing the local area. Highly recommended.

La atención de Encarnita, inmejorable, súper atenta y se tomó muchas molestias en enseñarnos la cueva donde llevan los quesos para su curación. Le enseñó a los niños todo el proceso de elaboración del queso. Súper interesante. Volveremos

Encarni súper amable y encantadora. Nos regaló mantequilla, un trozo de su cabrales y también huevos de sus gallinas. Cualquier cosa que necesites ahi está ella. Tielve es pequeño y el entorno precioso. Nos quedamos 6 días y hemos disfrutado mucho. No hay cobertura en el pueblo, pero Encarni nos dejó usar su wifi.

A bit too removed with no wifi, cell service, grocery, etc.

We are a middle aged couple traveling with our grown son & daughter-in-law to the area for the first time. I always check wifi as a requirement when I search for lodging, but apparently missed it on this reservation, which isn't normally a problem, however there was also no cell service in the area either (3 different providers). We like to disconnect while traveling, but this does make it very challenging to look up directions, hikes, etc and to plan accordingly. Additionally, there are no services in Tielve. The house was fine and would be good for a large group traveling together. Oscar's mother, who greeted us, was very kind and also left us a delicious chunk of her award winning cheese and bread, which we enjoyed. Having spent a few days in the area and seeing so many sweet towns that also had restaurants, bars, grocery and wifi, I would choose differently when we return. The area is spectacular and I do look forward to a return visit.

El alojamiento esta genial, hay una habitación de matrimonio que es muy pequeña con lo cual seria mas bien individual, hay que tener en cuenta que en el pueblo no hay nada, casi ni bar, no puedes comprar nada, pero la tranquilidad es increíble, todo muy bien pero tampoco puedes acercar el coche para descargar las maletas, las calles son muy estrechas son pequeños inconvenientes pero si buscas tranquilidad y vistas espectaculares es perfecta.

¡Unas vacaciones fabulosas!

Nos alojamos dos familias, con niños y adolescentes y todo estuvo de 10. La casa amplia y cómoda. Aunque conociamos la zona, no conocíamos el pueblo de Tielve y fue un acierto. Los anfitriones muy cercanos y superamables. Como bienvenida nos regalaron queso y mantequilla hecha por ellos mismos, y estuvieron pendientes de nosotros en todo momento....muchas gracias familia por hacernos la estancia tan agradable, y sin duda, REPETIREMOS!!!

Enamorados de Tielve

Maravillosa nuestra estancia en la que ya consideramos nuestra casa. Hemos estado una semana en la “gloria bendita”. El enclave es inigualable y nuestra Encarni, la dueña de la casa, ha contribuido sobremanera a que nuestras vacaciones fueran perfectas. Nos recibió como si llegara alguien de su familia, siempre pendiente de nosotros y ofreciéndose para todo. Nos encantó su queso y su mantequilla. ¡Ah! Y una mención especial a todos los vecinos del pueblo (Elena, Angelines, Ángela…..) que nos han tratado como a un vecino más.
