Why Leanne Butler chose Jamestown
We absolutely love this cabin and the area. It's so beautiful and serene and the perfect getaway for a couple, family, or group of friends. It's beyond nice to have your horses right there where you can see them, be able to tack up and just ride off directly from the cabin to various trails within the park.

Great place and location
Everything was great. Cabin was clean and ready . Would do again
Cozy comfortable getaway
My friends and I had a great time at the cabin. It was clean, had all we needed to prepare our meals together, and the hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking. It is surrounded by woods at the end of a cul-de-sac, lovely, quiet, and secluded.
Much needed getaway
We loved our time at your beautiful cabin. It was our escape from the real world. We brought our horses and rode the nearby trails. We also spent time simply unwinding by the fireplace. Only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer. Looking forward to another stay there.
I’m so happy you all enjoyed your stay! We look forward to having you back!
Fall trip to Daniel Boone area
OMG - this cabin was the bomb! Great location, great beds (even the pillows), soft towels, well stocked kitchen, everything working and totally clean. The deck was fabulous and sitting in the hot tub overlooking the woods was so peaceful and enjoyable. Our dogs LOVED the deck and the property and our walks to the creek and also down the road - tons of room to run and explore. Even the grill was great for our steaks. Although the cable channels were limited, we enjoyed a number of DVDs we had brought with us. The water pressure in the shower made you want to stay in there for hours. We truly loved the closeness of Pickett State Park, too. Beautiful area. Although we like to go to new places each fall, this was the best cabin and location yet and we will very likely will come back again. It simply had everything!
Wonderful cabin in the woods
The place was clean, cute and cozy. Loved having the hot tub on the deck looking into the woods and up at the stars. We had space to explore, were right next door to beautiful horses, and saw deer every morning in the front yard. This place is a gem, and so close to both Pickett State Park and big South Fork.
Very nice cabin. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Owner very responsive with emails and details about area and things to do.
