About The Owner

We live in Lahaina , and enjoy whale watching in our sailboat. Our Hana House serves as our retreat from the big city of Lahaina.

*Our manager is an Island girl, born and raised in Hana. She is invisible, but available. Please contact her for inquiries, questions, or concerns.

The Owner purchased this house in 2004

Why The Owner chose Hāna

We fell in love with Hana the first time we visited there. After many trips we finally found our dream Hana location. The community is very special, like no where else in the Hawaiian Islands. The views and location sold us.. Our house looks vintage yet it's modern , built in 1999.

What makes this house unique

This home is truly a work of art bringing together culture, luxury and romance into a beautiful hideaway. Everything from handcrafted flooring to one of a kind antique detailing, this home has the Aloha to make your stay in Maui a treasure to remember forever.

Aloha Feeling

  • 5 of 5

The moment we drove up we knew we had made a fabulous choice. The home was so inviting, elegantly beachy, not too trendy. Loved the white wash, blues and whites. The outdoor tub was a lot of fun! The veranda was fabulous and relaxing. Our only regret is we should have stayed longer! I would only make one suggestion and qualify it with that I understand the location is in the jungle, lots of spiders outside, perhaps an extra swipping during each cleaning to keep the webs down. We live in the country in Temecula wine country and understand webs form so quickly, I'm constantly removing. Mahalo!

Great stay in Hana Town

  • 5 of 5

This house was a great home-base for our exploration of Hana. We stayed four days. The home and views from the property were very nice. The property manager took care of the only hick-up within 10 minutes: it was an entry key issue and Shyanne was there fast to open the door. I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic sunrises through the master windows. Easy to get everywhere that we wanted go and see on this end of the island.

Sunny yellow house with a fabulous veranda

  • 5 of 5

The best room in this charming house is the outdoor veranda, with comfy seating and a view of the ocean. We enjoyed our coffee there in the morning and shared wine there in the evening. The upstairs bedroom is very bright -- bring your sleep mask -- and sometimes a bit noisy, with a chorus of cows and a nearby donkey -- so glad we brought ear plugs. Nonetheless, I recommend this VRBO near Hana.
