The guest house has been completely renovated with antique furnishings and historic photos of Texas A&M University. It includes a porch for sitting out, and the back yard can be reserved for entertaining.
The main house was built in 1936 by a professor in the Texas A&M Veterinary School, and although it has been updated, the structure and its furnishings, are a vivid reminder of its past. The living areas in the main home (i.e. living room, study, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast room), are also available for rent, for modest sized receptions, for a variety of occasions, such as for wedding receptions or bridal showers.
In addition to the location in an historic neighborhood close to the campus of Texas A&M University, College Station is the home of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library, which is full of historical exhibits.
The owners also have property in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, which is linked to their website below.

The guest accomodations have two twin beds plus a single sofa bed. The home is within easy walking distance of the Texas A & M campus. The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Messina Hof Winery are also located in the Bryan/College Station area. You might enjoy spending some time walking in our neighborhood among all of the old homes. There is a park called Brison Park on Dexter, which is just 3 blocks west of Lee. This is a very nice park if it is not too hot. But, watch out for the flock of guineas.
Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: Vicky and Josh Harrison moved to College Station in 2004. They split time between their historic home here, which was built by a professor in the Texas A&M Vet School, back in 1936, and a home in The Woodlands, where Josh practices law. The photo above was taken in August, 2012, at Butchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia.
