This beautiful holiday home is located right at the edge of the Natural Park of Oyambre, though still within a short walk to the town centre, so it offers peace and tranquility, without being far away from the restaurants, bars, beaches and the main attractions of Comillas.

The house comprises of an entrance hall leading to a good-sized living and dining area with fireplace and fitted kitchen, a large bedroom and a master bathroom on the ground floor, and another bedroom with two single beds upstairs.

Outside there is a lovely garden of about 70 m2, with garden furniture and bbq. The views from the garden are really spectacular, and from here a few steps give access to a country lane that leads directly into the Natural Park.

The town of Comillas is an ideal destination to feel the magic of the Green Coast. It is renowned for being one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Located next to a picturesque beach and sheltered by the Picos de Europa Mountains, it has a lovely harbour surrounded by small, traditional taverns and a quaint old town centre with cobbled streets and pretty squares with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. One of its must-visits is "El Capricho de Gaudí", a building given to the village by the famous Catalan architect. Equally unmissable is the Sobrellano Palace and the huge Pontifical University.

Wonderful

The house is lovely, very clean and well equipped. It is in a great location with an easy 10 minute stroll into town. You can walk to the beach - which we did. The town and beach are lovely. Rikke is lovely, very helpful and welcoming - would thoroughly recommend. We loved our stay.

Cozy cottage

A weeks stay in a lovely well equipped cottage in a great location . Close to the town and the attractions. Short ride to the beach to exercise our dog . Enjoyed the sun trap garden at the rear. Rikke and Richard were very helpful during our stay. Would recommend.

Fabulous find!

We were so lucky to find Hyggebo! For a start Rykke was a brilliant host, very helpful before and during our stay. She suggested places for us to visit and helped us out when we had a problem with our car. The house is lovely, very clean and well equipped and with a nice back garden. We loved having the pellet stove on in the evening and it made everything cosy. The house is within a short walk from Comillas, one of the most interesting towns in Cantabria with incredible places to visit. It is also ideally situated for visiting the Picos national park - there is certainly lots to do just on the doorstep but our favourite things was the Altamira museum and replica of the caves there We will definitely be back!

A lovely stay

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at Rikke's house in Comillas. We loved everything about it; the town, the friendly warm people, and the lovely house. It is in a perfect location--far enough away from the center of town so as to be quiet, but close enough to be able to walk there in 10 minutes. We really enjoyed walking to town every day and going to our favorite places, like the wonderful bakery for fresh bread. The house was comfortable and warm--it had a pellet stove which kept us toasty on cold days and nights. The neighborhood was quiet and the kitchen was well-equipped. We especially loved the little garden/patio where we sometimes ate dinner and watched the sunset over the gorgeous Picos de Europas. You couldn't ask for a better view! Thank you, Rikke, for making our stay so memorable. We would love to return!

Sehr gemütliches, hübsches kleines Steinhaus. War wohl mal sowas wie ein kleines Bauernhaus. Toll renoviert und gemütlich. Wir haben - wenn wir nicht unterwegs waren - fast immer auf der Terrasse im kleinen Garten gesessen.Rikke, die Gastgeberin, ist sehr freundlich und zugewandt.

Schön eingerichtetes Haus

Nette Gastgeberin, alles im Haus vorhanden was man braucht! Lage ausserhalb von Comillas wie gewünscht, nette Nachbarn! Leider waren die Häuser drumherum unbewohnt und etwas runtergekommen!

Heerlijk huisje

We waren 9 dagen in dit heerlijke huisje. Het is mooi gerenoveerd en mooi ingericht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het is op loopafstand van het gezellige plaatsje Comillas en enkele minuten met de auto van het strand. Mooie golfbanen vlak in de buurt. Een fijne plek om nog eens terug te komen.

Cómo en tu propia casa

Nos alojamos durante un par de días con nuestro Jack Russell y nos encontramos como en nuestra propia casa.El patio trasero es fantástico para sobremesas y atardeceres tranquilos.La casa es más amplia que en las fotos y no le falta nada.Se nota que su propietaria ha pensado en todos los detalles y además se preocupa por hacerte la estancia aún más agradable.En un cortísimo paseo te plantas en Comillas y está muy bien comunicada por carretera, por lo que es un excelente sitio para visitar otros lugares cercanos que también merecen mucho la pena. Para repetir.

Todo excelente

Todo excelente y muy acogedora la casa. El jardin pequeño pero perfecto para unos dias. No hace falta nada todo muy bien equipado, en la cocina por ejemplo no echamos en falta nada. La propietaria muy amable. La casa esta cerca de comillas pero un una zona muy tranquila.

Wunderschönes kleines Haus

Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung, bzw. es war noch wesentlich schöner als erwartet. Es ist hell, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat eine Terrasse und einen kleinen Garten. Sowohl den Ort als auch die Strände kann man von dort zu Fuss erreichen, bzw. es stehen auch Räder zur Verfügung, die man nutzen kann. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter, es wäre bei Regen aber auch kein problem gewesen es sich in dem Haus gemütlich zu machen.

Repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Desconexión.

Sin duda una casa para volver más veces. Tranquila, con una decoración preciosa que te hace sentir como en casa, siguiendo la filosofía “Hygge”. Bien ubicada, luminosa y con dos bicicletas para poder utilizar. Tiene todos los detalles y utensilios para hacer la estancia perfecta. Una terraza trasera que da gusto. Fuimos con nuestras dos perras que estuvieron genial. Los propietarios muy amables, Rikke es simpatiquísima. Cuando volvamos a Comillas, volveremos a Hyggebo (que ya lo estamos deseando).

Estupendo

Fin de semana muy confortable y relajante. La casa recién reformada, muy bien equipada y silenciosa. Muy espaciosa. Aunque el tiempo haya sido invernal, la chimenea también ha aportado todo el calor necesario aumentando la sensación de sentirse como en casa. Rikke siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudar. ¡Volveremos seguro! Gracias por todo, Rikke.

Navidades con encanto

Hemos pasado unos días en Cantabria, y hemos estado alojados en esta maravillosa casa, es como figura en las fotografías (incluso más grande a mi parecer), es muy acogedora y cálida, totalmente nueva, está muy bien aislada para el frió y muy cerca de Comillas (se puede ir andando), desde el jardín se pueden ver los Picos de Europa. La propietaria es muy atenta, cuida todo tipo de detalles, como era Navidad la decoró con motivos navideños, incluso a nuestra perrita le dejó preparado un cuenco con agua. Sin lugar a dudas cuando volvamos a Cantabria intentaremos alojarnos en Hyggebo
