Verblijf appartement Conca dei Marini

Het appartement is zeer ruim en is keurig en schoon. Het heeft een groot terras met prachtig uitzicht over zee. Direct onder het appartement is een restaurant en een winkel waar je bijvoorbeeld buskaartjes kunt kopen (noodzakelijk om bij de zee of andere kustplaatsen te komen). Het adres van het appartement op de website klopt niet helemaal, gelukkig was Giulia al in de buurt en kon ze ons makkelijk naar de deur leiden. Giulia is een zeer vriendelijke host en is zeer kundig in het regelen van alle zaken en beantwoorden van vragen. Ze nodigde ons ook uit voor een avond in haar thuisrestaurant en dat was een zeer leuke belevenis. Parkeerplek voor je auto kan ze ook regelen. Let op dat Google maps je mogelijk door een ZTL zone stuurt op de weg naar het appartement, vraag Giulia dan om een ontheffing te regelen bij de locale politie anders krijg je een flinke bekeuring. Het openbaar vervoer naar Amalfi vergt veel geduld en is met name op de weg terug vanuit Amalfi een hel (vermijd de bus terug in het hoogseizoen tussen 16.00 en 19.00 uur, want dat is letterlijk knokken om erin te komen).

Delightful spot with beautiful views!

Nice apartment with a great balcony to enjoy the views. Bus route nearby, as well as a few restaurants and a market all walkable. Host is helpful with planning itineraries and other local info. A little slice of small town Italy. Enjoyed it very much!

Wonderful stay!

Although the weather did not cooperate, my husband and I had a lovely stay. The apartment was large, appears just like photos, was fully equipped with spectacular views. Gjiula was very helpful with any of our inquiries during our stay. We had a lovely time and recommend this property.

Beautiful but…

We kept our booking to experience the view from the terrace which is phenomenal. The town was also charming with surprisingly a lot of english-accommodating restaurants. Loved all of that. The host however was not the greatest communicator until it was day of. We changed our stay from 4 nights to 3 nights almost immediately (months in advance) and we were refunded a small amount. However, I reached out several times about getting our full amount back for the one night we took off - most times she just didn’t reply and once she said it was just “vrbo fees”. So we ended up paying almost the price of 4 nights for 3. There was also lots of ants in the bathroom 2 out of 3 days. Oh well.

Spectacular View

We had a lovely stay at Giulia’s place! It is very spacious, comfortable and homey, with absolutely amazing views from the terrace. The restaurant downstairs has great food…we ate there for 3 of our meals! The village is lovely and in a convenient location to get to other areas along the Amalfi coast. Guilia is great, and very nice.

Heaven

This place was so magical and beautiful. The views were insane and the sun up and sun down were spectacular. The house is very spacious and the rooms were all pretty big. We were a group of 6 and fit perfectly!! Host was as very nice and helpful and the restaurant downstairs was very good and the owner very kind!! We will definitely be back as it was the best time we had in Italy!! The beach is a lot of stairs down but thats to be expected in this part of Italy! Overall a true gem! 10/10!!

Great host and great view

The host was very responsive and pleasant. She greeted us at the property and checked with us during the stay if we needed something. The view from the terrace was magnificent (if you don’t mind the ants.) The village is located between Amalfi and Possitano, which made for a good base. The bus to Amalfi was relatively close, however, the one to Possitano required climbing many stairs on return. The parking was at extra cost, arranged by the host. If you are looking for a beach - there is one 300 stairs down. This is not for someone who has issues climbing stairs. I would never repeat the climb! The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The only issues we had is that many electrical outlets were broken and our family of 4 could not take warm showers one after another. We had to wait for the way to heat up. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Just Awesome

We had a fantastic stay at Giulia's apartment! Great quiet location in between Positano and Amalfi. House was very clean. The views were spectacular! Giulia is a great host, always accommodating. She is now more of a friend than a host. Will definitely go back.

Space was lovely, Guilia was very responsive and helpful with recommendations. A couple of things to be aware of. You will need to plan ahead for using the local bus as it doesn't run often and the last bus from Amalfi is at 20:00 pm.. Internet reception isn't great, given that you are half way up the mountain. Great rooftop balcony to enjoy the views of the water...but, it is a bit of a trek to get down to the water. Highly recommend the local trattoria, Nino's. The food is fantastic, the staff are wonderful, the views lovely. I have never hyped a restaurant online before but would highly recommend going to Nino's if you are anywhere near here.

Don’t go anywhere else!

This was paradise. An ‘Amalfi’ experience without the Amalfi crowds. The apartment is perfect. Spacious, beautiful tile floors, immaculate. The view unforgettable. The town, quaint & quiet. The beach will render you speechless. Five stars is not enough for Giulia. Mille grazie for an unforgettable experience. Someday we hope to see you again!!!!

Peaceful, beautiful, affordable

Being able to experience the luxury and beauty of the Amalfi coast at this price point is a blessing. Conca dei marini is small but has a good resturants and a good coffee shop (at the Monastero), nearby bus stops, and Giulia is very helpful, she arranged for nearby parking at 20E a night. Also, the view is the gift that keeps on giving: every time of day, every weather shift offers new and staggering vistas right from the balcony.

Loved the area

A journey well worth the travels to get to. Love the local climate - both local restaurants and people of Cona Dei Marini. Julia was very informative at check in. The house was very beautiful, unique and comfortable. Loved the tile and all the space. The beach area was well worth the walk - water was very clear without any debris. Lovely stary - Maybe we can make it back some day..who knows,

Great host

Amazing location. Concha di Marini is a charming area. Central location to all near by towns. Pizza da nino downs stairs is awesome. Walk down the stairs to the local beach. Giulia is great host who looks after her guests! The view is out of this world! We are still dreaming about it. Parking is not included but Giulia will arrange it for you for an extra charge

Beautiful view in a low bustle location

We chose to stay in Conca dei Marini due to the low tourist traffic. The home location was perfect for that. It was out of the way with easy access to dining and relatively nearby grocery. The view was spectacular. And the home itself was beautiful and well maintained. Parking was further from the home than we would have prefered, but this seems typical of the Amalfi area. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lage war sehr schön, Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Keine Kochtöpfen vorhanden, keine Geschirrhandtücher. Die Pizzaria unter der Wohnung ist sehr gut, aber sehr laut bis nach Mitternacht.

Excellent Seaside Location

The view from this priperty was spectacular. Close to the Emerald Grotto and Amalfi...quiet at night and within walking distance to 2 great restaurants. Giulia was the perfect host, very attentive. The apartment was larger than anticipated.

We LOVE it here!

It is hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay at Gulia’s apartment. The location was amazing and had incredible views. Very close to a market and delicious restaurant. Also easy to take a bus to Amalfi (15 min ride). Gulia was so gracious and helpful. We reached out to her with questions multiple times over our stay and she was always responsive and kind. We would recommend this place to anyone!
