At the footsteps of Al Alhambra!!

This place is perfect!! Plenty to enjoy within a 15 minute walk and the views are spectacular! Recommend parking at the San Cristóbal parking lot and walking down. Uber is available at a fair price too if you have lots of luggage.

Great view

A little cramped for two but good location and spectacular view of the Alhambra. Five to ten minute walk to center city and most restaurants. Tiny shower but good pressure and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed, about queen sized.

Great view of the Alhambra

The apartment is in a great position at the base of the amazing Alhambra. You open the shutters and there it is. Stunning! It is at the base of the beautiful albaicin neighbourhood and a 5 minute walk to plaza neuva. There is a mini supermarket a few doors up. A great spot to base yourself on Granada

Property was excellent. Short walk to town square downhill to the left and multiple restaurants and watering holes to the right of the entrance. View excellent and situated at the foot of Alhambra with a stream flowing across the back of the property so a very nice and peaceful view. However, the main entrance to Alhambra required a steep uphill climb or a walk to the square and a ride on the local bus up to Alhambra. Local fares are less than 2 Euros and you pay upon boarding or with a credit card. Local buses stop to the right of the property going uphill. Air conditioning units are floor units so a little noisy but effective. The hot water tank is small and enough for one shower at a time. Wi-Fi access is a little tricky. When they say look for passwords behind the router, they mean look at the back of the router itself not behind where a wall notice provides the wrong Wi-Fi name and password. There were no side tables by the mattress, but they were shown on images. Responsive host. Overall, we would rate the property 9/10 and would happily return there.

Beautiful Apartment in a Fabulous Location

My husband and I spent two nights in this beautiful apartment, which is located in close proximity to most things anyone would want to visit in Granada. Unfortunately, we had two issues. The first one was that the heat was not on when we arrived at the apartment and it was definitely chilly, both outside and in! Although the property manager was advised as to when we would be arriving, there must have been some misunderstanding. The second issue occurred the next morning when the circuit breaker kept kicking off. We turned it back on, but could only turn on either one light or one appliance; not both! That was not a fun way to begin a cold morning! Quirks aside, we enjoyed our stay.

Fairytale View

This apartment is all about the view out the back windows in the bedroom and living room. The Darro River is directly below the window with a romantic stone bridge, then there is a beautiful wooded hillside leading up to a breathtaking view of the Alhambra. The apartment was clean and comfortable, although there were a few stains on the couch. The only downside is the lack of storage. There is literally no space in the bedroom for anything except the bed. There is a tiny closet, but it was blocked by the AC. We just lived out of our suitcases on the floor of the living room. The kitchen, while well equipped, literally had 1 cupboard and 1 drawer. So all food, dishes, pots and pans were crammed into the one cupboard. Totally fine for a short stay, but it would be a bit harder to manage for a longer stay. We loved the location, but the street in front of the apartment can be VERY crowded. But once you got into the apartment, it was very quiet. The ice cream place 2 doors down was amazing and there was a well equipped grocery store just a few steps away.

They message me to ask my arrival time. I say 11:30-12 (which is 3hrs prior to check-in). They don’t tell me their office is a half mile from the apartment or that I could leave my bags with them. They don’t respond to my msgs or calls. 30 min later they tell me to drag all my luggage back to their office until the room is ready. They give me the room at 2:15pm. We quickly leave our bags as we have to make our appt at Alhambra (first mistake). We come back at 6pm. Half the lights are not working. There are stains on the walls. And the cleaning staff didn’t bother cleaning the dirty dishes left by previous dwellers. I wrote them a message. The next morning, discover the left shower door is broken, fell of the rail as I tried to open. Left another msg. They get mad at me that I didn’t tell them all this initially at 2:15 the day before. I said, I don’t need the lights til the dark, and I don’t need a shower til the next AM, and I told them I had a 3pm Alhambra appt. Anyway, they refused to compensate me, told me To leave without a refund if I didn’t like the place, and could care less. Complete lack of hospitality and customer service. Don’t stay here. Maybe it was only my apartment. Idk. This company is located throughout Granada with various apartments. But I would never book with them even if their other apts are wonderful, solely based on their indifferent methods.

Very good place to stay near Alhambra, but with issues

The good news: great location with a fabulous view up to the Alhambra. Convenient bus service, couple of convenient shops, some decent restaurants nearby, and walkable around the Albaicin. The apartment is compact but very comfortable, especially the bed and sofa and dining table. Decently stocked kitchen and appliances, so you can self cater. Andrea was very helpful and accommodating. Now for the issues: my GPS and Google Maps could not find the street, but I think that's because ChezMoiHomes gave the wrong street name. They also sent instructions to send an SMS when you're 30 minutes away, but Andrea was only monitoring What'sApp, and no one was answering the phone number given. I spent 3 frustrating hours trying to find a way in to apartment until luckily Andrea showed up; she was great in taking care of the mess, which was really encouraging after all the issues.The parking garage near the apartment is very difficult to drive in to, so if you have a big car, find another place to park. The shower is ridiculously small: if you are a big person, find another place. Once I got in the apartment, my stay in Granada was comfortable and quiet. The shower size really detracts from the overall enjoyment, but the view up to the Alhambra is a major plus.

Sweet apartment with very tasteful decor, in an area close to the centre of everything, but with greenery and scenery to-spare. Beautiful night breezes and sounds from the creek outside the balconette doors were great for sleeping without AC. Views of the Alhambra were a nice teaser for actually touring it. A place to put folded items in the bedroom closet would be helpful for longer stays. I would definitely recommend this property and hosts.
