About this property

Historic Cottage next to a natural swimming pond and a magnificent fruit garden

The compact house was built 1906 and has been lovingly and lavishly renovated 2002 according to ecological guidelines. It combines a historical ambience with modern comfort in an unique way and is situated right next to a large, beautiful garden with fruit trees and a natural swimming pond (10x3 meters). The pool is shared with the holiday property next door (see property 8412171 "Landmark house near Munich city). Additionally, the cottage has it's own private small garden with a spacious terrace available for al-fresco dining, sunbathing or just unwinding.

ground floor:
Well-equipped kitchen-living room with terraces and access to the garden, storage room with washing machine, living room, large bathroom with toilet, shower, bathtub and sink.

First floor:
Master bedroom with double bed, bedroom or living room with 3 single beds, small WC

German and English books as well as a large selection of children's books and comics are at your disposal as well as DVDs.
Munich city center (30km) can easily be reached by car over the Autobahn (Motorway) or by a regular train service 2km from the house.
With the swimming pond and garden the house is surrounded by a lot of green where children can become true nature discoverers. Suitable for train travelers, S-bahn station 2 km away, we will gladly pick you up and provide bicycles!
The house is an ideal starting point to explore historical cities like Munich, Augsburg, Landsberg or Dachau as well as the Upper Bavarian nature. Besides the Ammersee, Wörthsee, Pilsensee and Starnbergersee are also close by and offer water sports such as sailing, stand up paddling, windsurfing etc. The area also offers many cycling and walking paths.
Our holiday home is located in a small village on the southern slope to the Ammersee. With Föhn you have a wonderful view of the lake and the Alps. Imagine waking up relaxed, taking a swim in the natural swimming pond and discussing your further planning for the day over breakfast on the terrace: should it be an excursion to the historic Landsberg, a cycling tour to the beer garden by the lake or a relaxing day in the on the cozy sunbeds next to the pool?

Cozy cottage in the country

The cottage is warm and cozy. It’s a block away from the bus stop, which takes you to town or train station. The hosts are incredibly friendly and receptive. Our daughter is planning a return trip to Germany in a couple of years and will definitely stay here again.

House was very cute. The host were AMAZING! House was clean and welcoming. We even had a welcome basket. The host went beyond our expectations. She even gave us detail instruction to go to Oktoberfest. They picked us up from the train station, drive us to a restaurant and even picked up one couple late at night from a food tour.

Super Host!!

Sabeeka made our stay absolutely perfect! She guided us to the train station and helped to ensure that we were easily able to travel to Munich and Old Town. She and her son provided guidance for the Oktoberfest- we were in Hofbrauhaus Beer Garden for the official beer tap for 2024. SO FUN!!

Een hele fijne en goede accommodatie die centraal gelegen is voor allerlei uitstapjes in de omgeving maar ook dicht bij het mooie meer. Contact verliep prima, incheck ging makkelijk en er stond eeen mand met heerlijke lekkernijen klaar evenals koude drankjes in de koelkast.

Schönes Häuschen auf dem Land

Das kleine Häuschen liegt direkt an der Dorfstraße, ca 3 km nördlich vom Ammersee. Die Küche ist perfekt eingerichtet und wir haben den direkt daneben liegenden Garten sehr genossen. Bei 30 Grad war es unter dem Dach ordentlich warm, die bereit stehenden Ventilatoren waren sehr hilfreich. Der Naturteich befindet sich im Garten der Besitzer und wird mit diesen geteilt, das hatte sich für mich aus der Beschreibung nicht ganz ergeben. Es war aber unproblematisch, da wir den Teich meistens für uns hatten und auch dort ein eigener Liegebereich unter den Obstbäumen für uns vorhanden war. Eine wirklich gute Abkühlung in der Sommerhitze. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Reizendes kleines Häuschen in der Nähe des Ammersees

Das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert, es ist ganz liebevoll saniert mit einem kleinen niedlichen Garten. Es hat eine super ausgestattete Küche, es mangelt an nichts. Es eignet sich für herrliche Ausflüge per Rad an den ganz nah gelegenen Ammersee und Starnberger See . Wir waren mit Freunden und 3 Teenager unterwegs.

Schönes Häuschen mit erfrischendem Garten und Pool

Wir genossen den Aufenthalt sehr. Das historische Häuschen ist ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Es ist gemütlich und komplett ausgestattet. Bei Ankunft fanden wir einen tollen Begrüßungskorb mit vielen Leckereien, so dass die Entspannung direkt beginnen konnte. Er gibt in der Umgebung viel zu entdecken, was man aufgrund des guten Radwegenetz prima mit dem Fahrrad machen kann. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und verleihen auch Fahrräder.

Das Häuschen, das nicht mehr gelb mit grünen Läden ist, sondern rosa mit blauen Läden, ist wunderschön saniert und eingerichtet. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und ein üppiger Willkommenskorb mit Leckereien hat uns empfangen. Sabeeka und Hans waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns einige Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben.
