Originally Belgians (Flemish) we were already looking a long time forward to change our lifestyle and to practice a profession with passion.

Opening 2 holiday homes in the former coach-house and hunting lodge of the castle of Cahuzac in this beautiful region of southern France is a dream that became true.

We are currently renovating the castle itself so that the glory and atmosphere of former times will revive.

In the large outbuilding (465 m² / 5.000 ft²) of the castle we accommodate 2 spacious and characterful holiday homes, with maximum attention to quietness and privacy.

The left part was formely the horse stables and beside it the carriage house. The right part was the caretaker's house, locally known as the hunting lodge.

The holiday homes are housed under the same roof, but completely separated from each other (internally seperated by a large barn and the garden with a fence of recuperated stones).

They have both a private garden and an own heated swimming pool, without "vis-à-vis" or other inconveniences.

Both holiday homes were rewarded with 4 stars by "Gîtes de France"

We are in a quiet location, but not at all remote. The picturesque town of Sorèze with a department store, bakers, butchers and various restaurants is a mile away.

We are located just 6 km from the touristy Lac St Ferréol with its numerous restaurants, terraces, tea rooms, sandy beaches with rescue stations, water sport activities, ...

At 7 km from Revel where a weekly market takes place that is classified as one of the most beautiful markets in France.

We lie in a hilly landscape that is characterized by blooming sunflowers in the summer, at the foot of the nature reserve "La Montagne Noire" where you can take brisk walks, mountain biking or cycling, paragliding, caving or just enjoying nature and tranquility.

We are centrally located between 3 major tourist cities: Carcassonne - Toulouse - Albi. All about an hour away. Ideal for a day trip.

The hunting lodge was completely renovated in 2015 to ensure that all luxury and contemporary comfort are present. Four new bathrooms, air conditioning in the entire house and a private heated swimming pool.
There is a private garden within the larger castle domain that is completely enclosed. On the castle domain there are private hiking trails through the forest where, with a bit of luck, you can sometimes see deer.
