7 The Glade is set in the beautiful grounds of Penstowe Manor at Kilkhampton on the A39.

The chalet is tastefully decorated throughout with a seaside themed décor.

Saturday to Saturday booking are being accepted.

Lounge has combined TV & DVD, stove style electric heater, two two seater sofa's, coffee table, dining table to seat 4 and a bookshelf with a selection of DVD's and books.

Kitchen brand new for 2021 is equipped with new electric cooker (inc hob, grill and oven), new fridge with freezer box, microwave, kettle, toaster and slow cooker. There is crockery and utensils for 4 persons, plus pans and other cooking items. There are also items available for picnics (ice packs, Tupperware style containers, cooler bag, plastic cutlery and crockery).

Double bedroom comprises of very comfortable double bed, bedside table, wardrobe and drawers.

Smaller bedroom has bunkbeds, drawers and bookshelf.

The bathroom has wc, sink and walk in shower.

Electricity is by £1 coin meter situated in cupboard adjacent to the bathroom.

Outside space is enhanced with patio tubs filled with flowering plants, a picnic table, parasol and storage box with picnic chairs and children beach toys plus two body boards.

All bedding and towels provided please state number of persons occupying the chalet.

Well behaved pets welcome.

Parking is available to the rear of the property however this is on a first come basis. Alternative parking is available around the park.

Very enjoyable stay at Cosy Cove with everything you need in the cottage. Bed very comfortable and towels supplied were bath sheets and plenty of them. Location is great with beaches nearby.

Lovely cosy chalet

Fantastic

We spent a great week at Penstowe. The communication and check in process was great, the chalet was lovely and the kids loved the swimming pool. There are 2 pubs, a supermarket and takeaways within walking distance and the coast is a short drive away. Ideal location for Bude, Boscastle, tintagel etc along with the Coast Path. We can’t recommend Cosy Cove highly enough.

This is a lovely Chalet it is well stocked with everything one needs ultra modern showing my age haha it has a couple of minor drawback`s mainly the stairs to the entrance door can be a bit slippery with the tree debris maybe an extra railing in the middle would help to solve this there is also an electric coin meter that takes £1.00 coins this is something we were unaware of and with Cov-id we deal in cards we were fortunate the post office gave us enough £1.00 coins to see us through our stay there is £5.00 worth of coins at the chalet but they must be replaced when you leave the chalet our doggy was so relaxed would definitely book this chalet again had a lovely time and it was our 1st trip to Cornwall Bude it is breathtaking glad we went and thanks for having us best pizza Apepizza on the main street in Kilkhampton the owner is fantastic

Bude Kilkhampton Chalet

Cute little holiday chalet, well equipped and bright in a great location for exploring North Devon and Cornwall or up onto Dartmoor. We had a good stay despite the rainy and windy weather - and having an indoor pool onsite was a great help for entertaining the kids!

Our holiday

We enjoyed our stay in your chalet. Unfortunately the weather was not good to us and we had to stay inside more than we would have liked. Hopefully you will get the TV signal fixed but we enjoyed watching DVDs. My mum would have felt a little safer if there was a hand rail and none slip mat in the bath, also a hand rail on the outside steps, as the soggy weather made them rather slippy, apart from this we had a great time and would highly recommended it. Kind regards the Wooding family.

Lovely base for our holiday

This is a fab little property, we were a family of 4 and it had everything we needed. Loved the little touches, essentials such as bread and milk and scrummy lemon cake slices! Kids enjoyed the indoor pool on rainy days, the board games and books. Electricity meter took a bit of getting used to, usually ran out mid shower, but no big deal at all. I would recommend a wipe down tablecloth, with 2 young children it was quite hard to try to keep the lovely white one white! There a 3 eating options at Penstowe Manor including a well priced pizza shack (cash only). 10-15 min drive to Bude, where we spent most of our time.

Fantastic chalet and location

We’ve had a fantastic week.at the chalet. The chalet has everything you could possibly want with lots of thought going into the little details. On arrival the welcome pack of essentials was very much appreciated and the books, jigsaws and dvds kept my girls occupied on the one rainy day we did have. The facilities were excellent and we made use of the indoor and outdoor pool along with the sports facilities and evening entertainment. The chalet is in an excellent location with a choice of great beaches just a short drive away. It was great that these catered not only for our body boarding girls but also our sea loving dog. The beautiful areas of Boscastle and Tintagel are only a 30/40 minute journey. All in all a perfect place for a great week away. We’ll be booking again for next year!
