The host was very welcoming and showed us around the apartment. It was exceptionally large given a renovated school. For a family of three adults we had two large bedrooms with bathrooms. The kitchen and laundry facilities were great and included a heated dry rack. We unfortunately only stayed for one night but in future it would offer a great base for a week holiday. I would highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful property. Clean, well appointed and roomy. Located next to a peaceful sheep farm and yet very convenient to downtown Inverness as well. Our hosts could not have been more inviting or kind. Great stay!

Donnie & Ellie have a lovely property and are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the quiet setting while only minutes to access to groceries, eating establishments, and highway access to area sites. The property amenities are accurately described and just what we wanted.

Only 5 minutes or less from Inverness. We really enjoyed our stay! The morning rolls and milk was a nice treat as well as supplying us with sugar, coffee and tea! We also loved the candy treats! Thank you so much!

It was like staying at home, relaxed and easy access. The hosts were very welcoming. So close to the City of Inverness for convenience, but having the luxury of not hearing the noise:-)

Wow! What a brilliant stay at the Drumsmittal School! Donnie and Ellie were the best hosts, the property and home are gorgeous, and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. Drumsmittal School was an ideal location for us to explore the highlands, a short drive to Inverness to pick up fish and chips for dinner, and outside of the city for a peaceful nights rest. The home is immaculate, everything is freshly laundered and cleaned, with food staples provided so we didn't have to run to the grocery upon arrival. We walked down to the North Kessock Hotel for a wonderful dinner one night - it was full so we were glad we made a reservation as the host guide suggested. As other guests have said, the only problem with the stay is that it wasn't longer! Thank you for the amazing stay!
As you can see, spotless and comfortable. We spend many mornings at the couch or table drinking our tea and coffee, admiring the views.
The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were quiet.

This place was amazing. We were sad to only spend 1 night. Lots of room, comfy beds, great bathrooms, amazing living room and kitchen, endless hot water, and an amazing host. Super fun history too :). I would absolutely stay again.

Just minutes from Inverness this property was an excellent location to explore the area and we loved that it was a converted school in quiet setting. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and found it to be spacious, comfortable and the amenities thoughtfully designed. I would highly recommend staying at this property!

This property was conveniently located close to Inverness yet at a distance that offered peace and quiet. The house was immaculately kept with plenty of nice upgrades (e.g., new bathrooms, upgraded kitchen, hot water heater, garden). This was perfect for our family of four! Our hosts, Donnie and Ellie, were great, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We would definitely come back here again.

Peaceful Property

This was a welcome sight at the end of each day we journeyed around the countryside. The location is convenient for exploring Inverness as well as a wealth of interesting attractions in the region. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were excellent at communicating with us and responded immediately to quickly fix a minor issue. We would recommend the so location without reservation.

Beautiful Black Isle Setting

Donnie and Ellie are the most gracious hosts. Their home is a in a beautiful country setting. I had everything needed for a comfotable stay. After exploring Inverness I also explored Black Isle and you cannot miss it it will take you back in time. Highly recomend The Drumsmittal School.for your stay in Iverness.

Peaceful and quiet

Conveniently located close to Inverness ( 15 minutes by car - Car necessary to reach the house) but in the countryside. Great view on the fields. No noise : quiet and peaceful nights, we slept like babies. The house is fully equiped. The bedrooms are large. There are 2 bathrooms and plenty of towels. The private parking is just in front of the door.We spent 3 nights there. There are so many things to do and see in the surrondings that we could have stayed longer. Many thanks to our hostess who took good care of us !aandthere us 2 bathroom

Amazing!

This was the most beautiful location in a beautiful country. We had sheep and newborn lambs right outside our windows. It was sparkling clean and even stocked with a few essentials. I just cannot say how lovely it was. Ellie even took us to a local craft fair. Highly recommend this place to stay!!
