クラシックフランスには、大きく開放されたリビングルームとバルコニー付きの新しく改装された大きなキッチンがあります。 バルコニーは、朝食を食べたり、コーヒー/紅茶を飲んだり、夕方に夕焼けを飲むのに最適な場所です。 2つのダブルベッドルーム、1つはエキストラシングルベッド付き。 両方のベッドルームには、庭とオード川の景色を望むロマンチックな窓があります。 すべての部屋から教会を見ることもできます。 製氷機、食器洗い機、洗濯機、インターネット、テレビを備えた冷蔵庫と冷凍庫。

アパートは新しく改装され、新しいベッドがあります。
クラシックフランスには、1800年代の家具を使用した伝統的なスタイルがあります。 庭園の上3 mにある長さ6 mのバルコニーがあり、町、川、周辺の丘の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。 バルコニーから庭園に直接アクセスできます。
ガーデンアパートメントは、庭の花のような、たくさんの異なる色です。 ベッドルームは、リビングエリアの長さを伸ばす6 mの長さのバルコニーのそばにあります。 冬の滞在に最適な暖炉。 庭へのアクセスは、内部の階段を経由します。

Beautifully located apartment, well appointed

Anna and Michael are great hosts and have thought of everything to make their guests happy. Lots of considerate touches in a stylishly furnished apartment with a lovely garden. Only a few minutes walk to Limoux town centre with a great view of the river and church opposite, lit up at night. Plenty of places to visit within an hour's drive. Altogether highly recommended

Magical property

This huge apartment was so comfortable! Very clean, well maintained, updated and very well stocked. We didn't want for anything. The garden, facing the Aude river, was the most magical place to hang out: so many beautiful plants and those roses are divine. Location: a 5-minute walk to the center of Limoux for fresh croissants, restaurants, little shops. Our wonderful, kind hosts Michael and Anna provided insights on local shops, restaurants and sights to visit. We would certainly stay in this apartment again. Highly recommended.

Loving Limoux & Riverside Garden Apts

The apartment was an outstanding base for cycling and exploring the wonderful area of Limoux and surrounding towns and villages. Grocery stores, bakeries, cafes, restaurants, bank machines etc. are all in close proximity. The apartment was very well appointed, spacious and had everything we needed for a very comfortable, extended stay. A magnificent garden with access to fresh figs and herbs and beautiful views of the authentic town of Limoux was lovely. What really sets this place apart and makes it special is the personable and engaging owner, Anna McMullen, who shared interesting stories, provided recommendations and went out of her way to make us feel cared for and special. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back!

A stylish characterful apartment with the most beautiful garden and a fabulous riverside location

Anna and Michael have created the most beautiful home and a stunning garden overlooking the river and church. This was our second visit for the annual Toques et Clochers wine festival which is great fun. They have thought of everything for a great holiday and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Amazing house with fabulous garden beside river and very central.

We were in awe at the quality of accommodation in this exceptional property. From the street it looks quite an ordinary house but once you climb the stairs the grandeur of the apartment with its high ceilings, original floor tiles and antique furnishings takes your breath away. A very modern and extremely well furnished kitchen with its range cooker and large fridge/freezer makes it very attractive to cook meals indoors instead of going out to restaurants. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable with everything you could wish for to give a restful night’s sleep. All the windows take in the afternoon sun and overlook the spectacular gardens laid out with flowers, shrubs, herbs and even fruit trees. There are also a few seating areas as well as a bbq area. This is a peaceful haven to sit in, listen to the birds and hear the river flowing beyond the outer wall. All of this is only surpassed by the hosts, Anna and Michael, who are extremely welcoming and made us feel it was a privilege to stay with them. Their warmth and hospitality as well as their communication with us made our stay here very memorable. They recommended lovely places to visit in the mountains which we would never have found on our own. We would love to have stayed here longer and certainly hope to return at some later stage. We can not recommend this property and it’s hosts highly enough.

Cyclists staying in Limoux, Languedoc

Anna & Michael were very welcoming & sociable (we visited a local wine bar together). There home was very well kept, with a great kitchen for home cooking (double hob/oven, huge fridge freezer, dishwasher etc.) The apartment has its own balcony and access to a private section of the garden with a bbq area, sun lounges & terrace overlooking the Aude. The apartment is located a 5 minute walk around from Limoux Central Station for those who wish to use the rail network. As cyclists, Limoux was the perfect base. The town itself has plenty of grocery stores, butchers, fish mongers, mini markets etc. and a decent selection of brassieres and restaurants. From Limoux we cycled through the valleys eastwards and visited a number of little villages, from Bugarach, Massac, Tornissan, Fontjouncouse and the scenery was beautiful. The terrain can be quite hilly depending on you're chosen route with maximum altitudes of over 800m. Nonetheless, this part of the world is still relatively untouched and the roads/villages were all cycle & hiking friendly. Would definitely return to Anna & Michael's apartment.

Delightful location adjacent to and overlooking the river Aude. Spacious, well equipped accommodation with beautiful gardens and above all friendly hospitable and gracious hosts in Anna and Michael who made our stay even more enjoyable. Limoux just 18k south of Carcassonne is a pleasant town with a nice square on the river Aude. It has major supermarkets in Leclerc and Lidl on its outskirts providing all basic needs is and is ideal for exploring the surrounding area with plenty of vineyards available to sample its excellent regional wine. A must visit is the still working Abbey at Lagrasse although, the drive over the mountain road can be interesting albeit a little hairy. The old walled city at Carcassonne is magical and a great way to spend an afternoon as is the Abbey at Rennes-le-Chateaux complete with its myth and legends. A visit to the Medieval town of Foix near Andorra provides a great opportunity of appreciating the charming and diverse countryside. Beziers and the lovely old cities of Narbonne and Perpignan are well worth the 1.5 hr drive. Motorway is easily accessible at Carcassonne. Find time to go the short distance to ‘Alet les Bain’ but take a towel and enjoy bathing your feet in the thermal spa as the locals fill the water bottles. This was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday with plenty to see and do. Some beautiful places and some not so memorable. We look forward to our next visit.

A spacious apartment with a lovely riverside view.

This was a family holiday with our teenage children. Everyone was very impressed with the beautiful apartment. From a plain door in a very plain street it is like entering another world. The apartment has high ceilings with very welcome fans in living room, kitchen and bedrooms. This was so useful in the 30-35c July heat. The kitchen and living room has been tastefully furnished in a very traditional French style. Bedrooms are large and have a lovely view over the garden and river. From the living room there is an airy balcony with stairs down to the garden. I have left the garden till last because it is the show piece of the property. Designed by the botanist owner this garden is a riot of colour and fragrances and has to be experienced as words are not enough. We enjoyed having our evening meal in the garden so much that no one wanted to eat out. This garden attracts bees and birds and is an absolute joy. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this part of France and would highly recommend this apartment.

Beautiful Apartment & Location

I stayed for 5 nights in May and was very impressed with the high standard of the accommodation, the wonderful views of the garden and river and the close proximity to the village (5 minutes walk) The apartment is huge, spotlessly clean and has every amenity that you could wish for. The train station is 5 minutes walk and an easy way to visit Carcassone. Anna & MIchael are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend Limoux Riverside apartments for a relaxing stay in a beautiful French village.

Wonderful

Michael and Anna have created an extraordinary environment overlooking the river, the garden, the church and the everyday life of this wonderful working town in a wine country setting. Every necessary amenity is available in the apartment which has a lovely deck for being outside. Michael and Anna are very helpful in every way, providing suggestions for towns to visit as well as where to shop.

Very nice place, clean and great service. The property was overwhelming, with a beautiful garden. It´s a nice place to go and relax and find peace. The nature is right there, just open the door and start to walk beside the river. It´s easy to get around, one can go by train to places close by. But if you have a car you can go even further and seek the adventure in the mountain I can really recommend this place. Limoux have a small center with a few restaurants that serves clams, salmon and salads and great vine.

1) 850m or 10 minute walk to the Piscine Municipal.
The Limoux swimming pool is equipped with two covered pools, open from mid-September to the end of June. In summer, the 3 outdoor pools are made up of an adult pool, a children's pool and a pool for young children.

2) 8.6 km or 10 minute drive to Alet-les-Bains
Alet les Bains swimming pool is an outdoor swimming pool open during the summer season. It is a 24°C mineral water pool. This pool is equipped with a large swimming pool and a smaller pool for children.

3) 100 km or 75 minute drive to Narbonne Plage (beach)
Narbonne plage is a resort on the southern (Mediterranean) coast of France in the Aude department. It is separated from the city of Narbonne by the limestone massif Montagne de la Clape and lies at its foot. The beach currently holds blue flag status, an award it has held on multiple occasions.

4) 115km or 75 minute drive to La Franqui Plage
5) 140km or 100 minute drive to Ax-les-Thermes with thermal pools inside and outside.
