Charming and stylish downstairs apartment of 60 square meters, everything ground-floor and very spacious bathroom.
The apartment is located at walking distance from the beautiful Centre of Haarlem and consists of a spacious living with an extra single bed, a separate bedroom with large double bed, separate private kitchen, with necessary equipment, TV and free WIFI. Spacious bathroom with rain-shower, bathtub and double sink.
Bedsheets, towels, soap and shampoo are available.
Use of electric-bicycles is included. Smoking and pets (unfortunately..) are forbidden.
An ideal place to explore the beach (7KM) and countryside. Also the train station is on walking distance ( Amsterdam 15 min. directly by train).

Perfect location

My family absolutely loved our stay here. My husband grew up in Haarlam and all his family are located within the area. The location, apartment and hosts were all perfect! The kitchen was also very well stocked. We will definitely be back!

Would highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend to others. Haarlem is such a beautiful area and we enjoyed it being a little less hectic than Amsterdam. We definitely hope to come back in the future.

Wonderful!

Fantastic property centrally located in Haarlem. Haarlem is also a quaint and charming town that makes a great base camp for exploring the entire area of Amsterdam. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including bikes! Friendly and accommodating hosts that ensure your stay is perfect. I highly recommend Bed and Bike!

Wonderful!

Easily one of our best VRBO experiences! Els and Anneke were lovely hosts who went above and beyond and the house is absolutely beautiful and well-equipped with everything we needed and more. It was great to go back there and relax every evening after a day out exploring Haarlem or day-tripping via train. We stayed for a week and were sad to leave.

Wonderful stay in Haarlem

Our stay in this wonderfully appointed apartment was enhanced by the two truly gracious hosts. We would return to this location in a heartbeat and recommend it to others. The attention to detail was quite impressive. Having the bikes was wonderful. Kudos to Els and Anneke.

Fantastic

Clean, wonderful hospitality, great shower, fantastic electric bikes for a trip to the beach and the dunes national park. 15 min walk to Haarlem station. Very generous provision of essential foods to get started. Els and Anneke were so helpful and even showed me the free parking a few minutes walk away where we left our car for the duration of our stay. Washing machine is hidden in the cupboard. Top recommenation for this lovely little place for 2 or just about 3. Loved it.

Quiet and comfortable retreat in Haarlem

We used Haarlem as our home base for touring the area. The apartment was clean and spacious and very comfortable. The hosts were kind and generous and very responsive. I have rented dozens of places on VRBO with many excellent experiences, but Anneke and Els were the most kind and gracious hosts I can recall. They went out of their way to make sure we were welcomed and comfortable. Haarlem was beautiful and was a pleasant place to come back to and relax after busy days.

Perfect place to explore Haarlem and beyond

Lovely property and great owners. The location is great for exploring Haarlem on foot and for getting trains to other nearby places. We did Amsterdam and The Hague. There are electric bikes too. We aren’t cyclists but the bikes looked impressive and there were maps etc for touring around. Also, some breakfast items were provided along with fruit which meant we didn’t need to go out shopping which was a nice touch. The beds are very comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean.

This apartment was great. It was a real pleasure staying and enjoying this amazing place. The owners, Els & Anneke, are really special and having the opportunity to get to know them was great. To get bikes from them was also a plus so we did not have to rent them. The main floor were one bed is located did not have A/C but as soon as you open the windows it was not needed. The Master Bedroom has the A/C unit that was perfect for this floor. Finally, we fully recommend this place. Robert, Hania & Andres

Happiness in Haarlem

We have stayed in properties all over the world but this apartment was the very best of all. The two hosts Els and Annike are a delight and we loved the short visits we had during our short time. We miss them already. They have equipped the flat to a high standard and provide many lovely treats as well as supplies for a first meal or two. The place is spotlessly clean with top quality (and ample) linen and very comfortable beds. Great location for exploring the lovely city of Haarlem and we love having the e-bikes to explore the countryside. Els took the time to show the good cycle routes out of town - a very generous gesture. It is also easy to catch the train (10 minute walk) to go to Amsterdam or other cities. Don’t miss the amazing market held on Saturdays…simply wonderful. We will make this our home in the Netherlands when we return.

Zauberhafte Stadt

Wir haben Harlem sehr genossen: schöne Straßen, Grachten, Blumen überall, dazu historisch…man ist schnell am Meer oder Amsterdam, je nach Wetterlage. Wir hatten die beste Vermieterin, die man sich vorstellen. Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht, war schön eingerichtet und dekoriert.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang. In Küche und Kühlschrank war für alles notwendige (und noch mehr;)) gesorgt. Das Appartement ist schön eingerichtet, liebevolle Accessoires, sehr gute Betten. Alles sehr sauber und das Bad ein kleiner „SPA“. E-Bikes waren einwandfrei. Unser Fazit: Volltreffer! Perfekter Urlaub!

Liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung

Vom Anfang bis zum Ende ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Schon die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. (Selbst der Backofen wurde im Vorfeld ausgemessen, ob unsere Lasagne-Form herein passt) Auf alle individuellen Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Der Kühlschrank war mit Butter, Marmelade, Käse, Softdrinks und kleinen Weinflaschen sowie Bier gefüllt. Auch Aufbackbrötchen und Croissants sowie Knäckebrot und frisches Obst war schon vor Ort. Im Bad waren vom Shampoo bis zum Badezusatz alles vorhanden. Frische Blumen standen in allen Zimmern. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Und die Vermieterinnen einfach zauberhaft. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.

Els and Anneke were the supreme hosts

Els and Anneke could not have been more helpful - our train was 1hr late so they continued checking for our arrival. The apartment was perfect for our five day stay, complete with food treat such as eggs, yoghurt and fruit and croissants and even a welcome wine. At the end of our stay Els was kind enough to take us to the Bus stop. Could not find anything negative to mention. Hopefully will be back

Home in Holland

My husband and I spent a week in this fantastic apartment, owned by the wonderful Els and Anneke! As American expats, we lived near Haarlem for seven years and return every year to see all our friends. The apartment's location is an easy walk to the Grote Markt (fab Saturday market), shopping, restaurants (Metzo is a favorite for lunch and Black Beauty has the best pizza) and the train station. Having the bikes to use is a wonderful gift which most rentals don't include. We used them every day for transportation to neighboring villages. If using a car, no worries, Els always has a parking spot for you. We only used our car to travel long distances. Many evenings were spent cooking dinner in the apartment (we always shop in Mabrouk, in the Botermarkt, for the best lamb ribs!) then falling asleep within the comfort of the lovely bed. Our home in Holland is, and will always be, with Els and Anneke. We are so blessed by them!

Quiet Evenings Close To But Not In Amsterdam

The ladies met us us as our taxi from the airport pulled up to the door. They are an outgoing pair, gregarious and they smile a lot. The apartment was impeccable and just as described online. The fridge was stocked with things for breakfast and the coffee was great. Departure went as smoothly as arrival. I highly recommend this property.

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön. Sie ist gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sogar der Kühlschrank war für die ersten Tage gefüllt. Man kommt schnell nach Amsterdam und an den Strand. Anneke und Els sind sehr liebenswerte Gastgeberinnen. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und kommen gerne wieder. Wir wünschen den beiden alles Gute!!!
