Why Lynne Kirvida chose Crosby
The peaceful setting and comfortable, cozy cabin makes for a truly unique getaway. There is 200' of weed free, private lakeshore. The lake is fairly shallow and the water quality is so clear you can see to the bottom in most areas. There are only 16 other houses on this lake with one end being a nature preserve and there is a public boat launch. Endless activities include fishing, boating waterskiing, swimming, hiking, four wheeling and biking. A 4-person paddleboat, canoe and dock are available for guest use. In the winter this is the perfect spot for that snowmobiling get away! Cross Lake is 5 minutes away and has several excellent restaurants to choose from along with fun shops to visit . Brainerd is less than a 30 minute drive and has a bigger city feel with smaller towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa to enjoy along the way. It makes for a fun shopping experience. Crosby is 15 minutes south and is known as "The Antique Capital of the Lakes Area" The 5 mile Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is open to biking and horse back riding enthusists and is within 25 minutes.

Love how quite the lake is and the comfortable beds. Our family had a wonderful time in this cute and well stocked cabin.
Everything Promised & More
It was incredible to find this family cabin with so much privacy in the heart of Minnesota lake country. The nearest neighbor’s dock was more than a football field away. It had everything my family needed for a great vacation at the lake; big yard for games, fishing off the dock, clean clear water, even a pair of fawns drinking on the shore. Every family member found something to keep themselves busy, including the kid who’s spent the summer inside on his computer.
The “at the lake” cabin décor was fun & we were continually amazed at how well the cabin was furnished. I brought a lot of things I didn’t need to bring.
Lovely Lake Front get away
This was the perfect get away for me and my family. Lake was clear and clean. Cabin was immaculate with ample space for all of us. The yard was flat and the lake was close; which was nice for my folk that went with us. Excellent place! We hope to be back again next year!
Thanks Lynne for quick replies through all of our many questions prior to our stay. You were wonderful too!
Five star retreat!
We loved our stay at this truly wonderful and peaceful cabin! The house is charmingly decorated, very clean and well appointed and the beds very comfortable!! Rain or shine, the screened porch is a wonderful place to drink morning coffee while watching the heron fish for its breakfast on the dock, to read, to nap, or to enjoy the stunning colors of the sunset. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and kayaking on the very quiet lake, and came home truly refreshed! Lynne was great to work with, too!
Great vacation get away
We enjoyed this space. There were 5 adult women and the place was clean and tidy. Loved the fresh new linens and towels. The yard and lake view is wonderful and lush. We enjoyed using the paddle boat and catching a few small fish. Lovely little towns close with plenty to do on a rainy day. Lynne has an awesome manual with all the information you could possible need. Planning to book again with my family.
Great weekend getaway!
We stayed here for our couples weekend; a perfect meet in the middle location for the group. We had a blast playing games and spending time catching up with one another. Our favorite part was the 3 season porch, a great view to Dolney lake. Saturday we went into Crosby and visited Cuyuna Brewing Company. The cabin came stocked with everything we could think of and more. Such a beautiful cabin. Many laughs and cherished moments were had this weekend. I would definitely rent this cabin from Lynne again!
