Luxurious home in secluded location with rural views just 5 mins drive to beach

The Lodge is a newly renovated property. It is completely self contained with its own screened patio area. The living space is open plan with a beautiful large kitchen, table and chairs and two sofas and a 49” satellite TV. There is a bedroom downstairs which can be either a kingsize bed or two singles depending on your requirements. This bedroom has a lovely en-suite shower room. Upstairs there is an exquisite kingsize bedroom with a velux window and a luxurious bathroom with a beautiful round window looking out to the fields. There is an electric car charging unit on the premises for the sole use of guests. The Lodge is always spotlessly clean and, in line with Government guidelines, after every guest a disinfectant solution is now administered using a fogging machine to ensure the safety of future guests.

An absolute gem of a place!

The Lodge is a wonderful place to stay and Leisha is a wonderful and attentive host. The property is completely equipped with everything you need. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings plus the perfect location of the Lodge makes it the perfect jumping off point for holidays on the Rame peninsula and beyond. We hope to return!

Just the place to relax...

Leisha's place is a little gem. It's situated in a quiet area of Cornwall that is also very beautiful. The style is contemporary/modern which suited us fine. We felt very at home here. Everything has been extremely well thought out for your comfort. It's spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with all mod cons. The provision of certain larder items was thoughtful and much appreciated. Leisha was very friendly, helpful and approachable and we look forward to staying again next year if we can get a slot! Thank you for a great weekend.

WOW!!! The perfect stay EVER!!!

We were the first guests to stay at this perfect property...Leisha, the owner, has thought of everything to truly make this little gem a complete home from home. We have been lucky enough to stay in some lovely accommodation around the world, Leisha scores 10/10 for everything at The Lodge. All tip top condition, as everything is brand new but also for being the most friendly host ever!!! What a complete and utter pleasure it has been to meet this lovely lady, it was our little son’s 9th Birthday and I asked if it were possible to arrange a balloon to be there to greet him when we arrived.....not only was there a balloon but a card, banners, more balloons and a homemade birthday cake with candles!!! Above and beyond are the words that I’m looking for, such friendliness and so thoughtful, our little boy has taken the balloon to bed with him every night since!! The accommodation is absolutely perfect, the attention to detail is second to none, everything has been thought out with the utmost care. The styling is fantastic, the interior design is beautiful. The lighting details are also a fantastic addition to the design elements of the property. Cleanliness was spot on and the added little details like fruit, kitchen foil, kitchen roll, toilet roll all add up to make the holiday even more stress free. The addition of the home grown strawberries in abundance were especially lovely for my husband and son. To sum up, a perfect stay in a perfect place, with THE most friendliest and loveliest host Leisha. Thank you so, so much...We will be back! I didn’t want to leave a fantastic review as we’d love to keep this gem a secret for ourselves. Please don’t hesitate to book if you want the perfect stay. Both our son and daughter gave it a 5 star rating and we concur. PERFECT!!!

It is exceptionally clean and well-appointed for everything one would need for a long or short very comfortable stay. It is very much in the country (although a short drive to shops Restaurants etc) a very peaceful haven. Perfect perfect perfect!

We loved our week’s stay in this beautiful and peaceful property. The facilities are second to none which made the holiday so comfortable and relaxing. There are lots of walks to explore along the coast and our wonderful host recommended great places to eat. All in all this was simply perfect!

Lovely stunning lodge

Lovely lodge, stunning location. Host is very helpful & the Prosecco & scones on arrival are a lovely touch. Would recommend this beautiful, immaculate lodge. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely book again.

Absolutely beautiful property close to gorgeous beaches, excellent restaurants and wonderful walking areas. The house is beautifully done- think Cowley Manor- so fancy hotel standards, but with kitchen / self catering options. It’s right next to the Leisha’s house, but private, quiet and wonderful to wake up to sound of hens/ wood pigeons. Would highly recommend. We stayed with our two teenagers and was really roomy for us all. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect Retreat

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfectly kitted out- all the little things were included. The place was spotless, the bed was super comfy- everything completed to a high spec and a true home away from home. Leisha was a lovely friendly host with expert area knowledge- the cream tea and Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. It was such a perfect retreat away from the city we are used to- lovely and quiet and close to the sea! We will definitely return with friends when we can! Thank you for opening up this glorious home for everyone to visit and enjoy.

Absolutely gorgeous little place in a beautiful location!

We stayed here whilst in the area for a friends wedding and could not have been happier. The property was immaculately clean, really well thought out and finished to a very high standard. And how fantastic after a long journey to be greeted with a homemade traditional Cornish cream tea and bottle of bubbles! What a fantastic host, helping us with directions, taxi numbers and recommendations for walk etc. It really was an absolute pleasure to stay here and will definitely be back!

I am a retired primary school teacher in the local area. I love being outdoors (doesn't matter what the weather) and spending time working in the garden. I am also a keep fit fanatic and walk regularly on the beaches, coast paths and across the fields and I also love cycling.

We moved to Cornwall in 1993 and have spent many years renovating our beautiful Cornish farmhouse and bringing up our family (Holly and Tim) who have now fled the nest.

The location is stunning. We are set in a valley and have beautiful views of the surrounding fields. The property is newly renovated (was our garage) and has been completed to a high standard with lots of mod cons, luxurious bedding, towels and toiletries. Ideal location for weddings at Polhawn Fort (less than 10 minute drive away) and Freathy Farmhouse (5 minute drive) and passing out parades at HMS Raleigh (5 minute drive). Also just a 5 minute to drive to Tregantle Beach.
