We loved staying here. The beds were comfy, there was lots to do around the property, the hosts went above and beyond to make our Christmas stay festive and homey. Oh, and the breakfast was fantastic. They even left dog treats in bowls for our dogs.

What an amazing trip. Not a single thing to change, we are planning our next trip back. Something for every age range and the riding in the neighborhood was great! Breakfast was amazing and we will definitely get Kim to make more meals next time!

This property was so cute inside and out. We loved the horse theme as my sister is equestrian. Kim was an amazing host and was very helpful in all ways. She made us a great breakfast that we enjoyed. She was concerned since we had some IT issues with the TV and was ready to move mountains to get it fixed for us. We were staying there for a wedding and checked in on us every day to make sure we had all we needed. She even allowed us to sleep in a little on Sunday morning after the wedding since it was a late night for us. We definitely plan to come back when we can really enjoy the house and surroundings. We loved watching the deer and horses in the quiet of the mornings and the wind and storm coming in Saturday night was amazing.

An Absolute Gem - Immaculate, Thoughtful, and Perfectly Located!My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at Kim's property for a weekend of hiking in Big South Fork. This is hands down the most immaculate and clean rental I've ever experienced; spotless, quiet, and truly turnkey.Located near the north side of the park, the property is absolutely stunning. Kim has put tremendous thought into creating a beautiful, practical outdoor space. The fire pit is perfectly sized for groups or couples, and the hammock positioned nearby was a wonderful touch. We were so focused on hiking that we didn't explore the grounds fully, but wish we'd had another day to do so!Inside, we found everything we could need. The beds provided incredibly comfortable sleep, and the home is so well-equipped we never wanted for anything. Families will love the ping pong table and activities in the garage.But what truly sets this property apart is Kim herself. We connected with her throughout our stay and genuinely feel we've made a friend. Her offer to provide a fresh baked breakfast is a thoughtful, personal touch you simply don't find at most rentals. And, her attention to detail and genuine hospitality make this place truly special. If you're looking for a clean, well maintained rental exceptionally close to BSF, your search is over because you truly won't find a better option. This property is RARE GEM! Highly recommend! Our family recently stayed at Kim’s property while in town for a funeral, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for her kindness and hospitality during a difficult time. From the moment we checked in, it was clear how much care she puts into welcoming her guests. Kim left fresh flowers and a thoughtful card for my wife, which meant so much to us. She even had water and treats ready for our little dog, who felt right at home.The home itself was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Kim went above and beyond by providing a delicious breakfast casserole and muffins, which not only tasted wonderful but also lasted us two full days. Those small touches truly made our stay easier and more comforting.We deeply appreciate Kim’s generosity and the peaceful, welcoming space she created. Such a wonderful stay!

This was a perfect place to land for me and my family. Such a quant a beautifully located place. Kim is an absolutely amazing host! She dropped off the delicious breakfast for us and the next night she asked if we needed extra materials for the fire and dropped that off as well. My son and I enjoyed some time playing the games in the barn. Kim recommended going to Norththrop waterfall,about 10 minutes away, and it was absolutely stunning and we had so much fun! Also enjoyed some of the highlights of Big South Fork (Colorblind overlook, Leatherwood, and Twin Arches) Food was amazing, beds were comfortable, the place had everything you needed and more, and we even enjoyed some popcorn in the commercial popcorn maker while watching a movie on Netflix one evening. Simply amazing place!

Little slice of Heaven

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. Kim and Tom are such warm, welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. Check-in was super easy, and the house was absolutely spotless. The beds were SO comfortable! We didn’t have any trouble falling asleep at night. Dinner was incredible—everything was made from scratch with so much care, and the cheesecake was out of this world. The home was stocked with everything we could possibly need, and more, making our stay extra comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved all the nearby hiking trails and ended our evenings by the campfire under the stars. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-cared-for getaway with amazing food, thoughtful hosts, and great outdoor activities, this is it. We will definitely be returning!

Horse people neighborhood

The location was easy to find, easy to get to, and the property was spacious. We were able to play with the dogs in the spacious yard and the roadways felt safe to walk the dogs on at all hours of the day. The trails on the property were fine, but not exciting. There was a tornado watch and hail storm the night of our arrival - and we appreciated being able to pull our vehicle into the shed for the night. We felt safe in the home during the storm and the owner provided plenty of information about preparing. I did not appreciate that the owner refused to supply keys to the home until we signed a second contract - in addition to the contract through Vrbo - and that a threat of additional cleaning fees was made despite pet fees already being applied ahead of the stay being used. It made me distrust the stay and stressed about being there because I didn’t know if we would get “fined” for damages we did not create. As such. We barricaded the furniture and mainly could only sit on the kitchen table chairs. There is no dish washer and the dishes we reached for the first day were still caked with food and needed to be pre washed before we felt comfortable using them. The washer and dryer on property are older and the dryer does not effectively dry clothing. Almost every item and cabinet in the home has a note from the owner on it about use/damage/ etc and the owner was in constant communication our entire time there. In all it did not make for a relaxing time.

Beautiful and relaxing long weekend!

This is such a beautiful home tucked away into the woods. It was perfect to spend 5 days away from home with our family, kids and mother in law. Super spacious, spotless and clean, and I LOVED being able to order hot, fresh, home cooked meals as if we were in a B&B but have a private home to ourselves. We even saw deer just outside the front and back windows. Plenty of board games, card games and entertainment outside. We hope to go back again! Thank you so much Kim for your attention to every detail!! I highly recommend your home to others.

Girlfriend Weekend

We have been celebrating girlfriend weekend for 12 years now… and our stay at End of the Trail was by far our favorite! The entire process of arriving to checking out was met with kindness and availability! Kim was the absolute best hostess of any VRBO we have stayed. The location was perfect! Just enough outside of town to experience solitude and quiet! But close enough to make a grocery run! We will be back!

Awesome Host and House

We did a Sisters/Daughters trip (Age range 18-62) and this house did not disappoint. Kim, our host, was extremely good with communication prior to our arrival and throughout our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was provided on our first morning and feed us for the entire time we were there and was delicious. We spent time each day on the back porch talking and relaxing. Some may think the location is a bit remote, but we did day trips to Rugby, Pickett State Park, Pogue Park, Jamestown, and Muddy Pond. None of these locations were more than a 30 minute drive. Highly recommend hiking to Northrup Falls located less than 15 minutes from the house, it was beautiful.

All you could want and more!

Kimberly anticipated anything we could ever need. We packed lightly to have room for the 127 Yard Sale, and we still over-packed. She had everything available from tide pods to Q-tips, and even had day-saving umbrellas. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and her house was immaculately kept. She brought us a delicious Quiche breakfast, as well as the best chocolate chip muffins I've ever had. We loved our stay here, and can't wait to come back in the future!

Fabulous Stay!!

Kim & Tom were excellent hosts going above & beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. Kim generously provided an excellent day of riding East Fork Stables trails for my husband & I which we thoroughly enjoyed! They even kept us apprised of severe weather warnings for the area & invited us to their basement for shelter if the need arose! Such a clean & comfortable home! It couldn’t have worked out better for our family of 5 adults & 1 child, who totally loved the tether ball, fire pit & s’mores & magnetic dart game-genius! Kim’s culinary skills were enjoyed by all! She even provided a Mother’s Day gift of the best key lime pie we ever tasted!! So thoughtful & helpful!! Ŵe loved our stay!!! Thank you so much!!!

Better than described

This house is in such a great location. The inside was very clean and decorated so cute. It had literally everything we needed for cooking and grilling. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire after a long day of hiking the Honey Creek Loop Trail. We will definitely be back. Kim was awesome.

Wonderful stay

We were really impressed with the property. Lots of things to do. The food that was catered for us was delicious and was a big amount. My only regret was that the weather didn't permit horseback riding. This place is well worth the money. Clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay and ride!

My friend and I stayed here with our 4 horses so that we could get in some good conditioning rides! It was awesome! The horse accommodations were perfect with stall, grass, and run in paddock options. All the equines were happy and the trails were just down the road. My husband enjoyed his fishing time off the property while we rode, and we all loved the homemade breakfast and muffins that lasted us for days! Kim was a great host, being flexible as our plans changed a couple of times, and she was responsive to every question we had. Can't wait to go back again! I would highly recommend staying here!

AMAZING!!!!

I have rented multiple places on VRBO and I have never had a host this amazing. She goes out of the way to make sure you have everything you could need. The property was amazing and spotless! And the food she offers is out of this world. Would give more ⭐️ if was an option. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

Outstanding all around!

The cabin is spacious and beautifully decorated/furnished with everything, and I do mean everything, that one could want or need on site. The neighborhood is very quiet, and there are hikes available within walking distance if desired. Kim brought us flowers, as we were celebrating our anniversary, and the breakfast and dinner that she made were equal to those served in a fine restaurant. Kim and Tom were both extremely responsive and helpful. We have already booked another stay!

Amazing

This was the most tranquil vacation i have every experienced. When planning our stay, Kim made sure that there were games and activities that would occupy all my children. She made us feel like family and welcomed.

Peaceful Thanksgiving Weekend

Had such a wonderful time at this property. Kim was/is awesome and so easy to communicate with. Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to go back. If the property is available do not wait to book because it is truly amazing. We traveled with a family of 5 and 1 dog, had plenty of room and everything just felt comfortable.

Each reservation receives a wonderful complimentary homecooked breakfast as well follow-up from your host to ensure a wonderful vacation. Additional catering for breakfast, brinner, dinner or treats are available. Your host lives off-site to allow a private relaxing vacation!
