Beautiful beach walks

A much needed break for us and two dogs - the setting is lovely in a really nice park, very peaceful. The beach and nature reserve just short walks had beautiful sunsets and Wider Sussex in easy reach. A lovely break

Lovely location

Property disappointing in some areas. Lot of kitchen items missing - roasting dishes, cheese grater, serving spoons. Pans and trays in very poor condition. No lead to dvd player, no batteries in remote. Dishwasher out of action, not pre warned, filled it to then realise broken, no washing up liquid available. When contacted Olwen said she was aware, forgot to let me know. Previous holidaymakers had left filthy grill pan in oven. Contacted Olwen and she got it cleaned up the following day. Was not very clean overall. Although lady she got in did a good job. Place needs a bit more tlc. Think this is why people don't seem to care when renting it. Such a shame as it could be really lovely. Nice outside and lovely site/ area.

Lovely quiet holiday home

Great place for a family holiday away from the busy tourist hot spots. Property was very spacious, if a little dated, site had great facilities and is just a short walk to the beach which never had more than a few groups and the odd dog walker passing by. Would visit again.

Perfect getaway

Lovely large bungalow lovely position 1 minute from pub/shop and 5 mins to quiet peaceful beach. Well kept holiday park that is always quiet even when busy !!

Excellent location for family trip

Comfortable and spacious base to explore a beautiful part of the south coast. Lots to do for younger kids (pool, play park, etc.) and beach 5 mins walk away. Very dog friendly and ideal for whole family trip

Lovely roomy chalet

Plenty of space and everything we needed. Another review mentioned it was 'tired' and I have to agree but this did mean we didn't feel we had to be too precious about everything. The weather was attrocious until the day we left and of course in this location we got the brunt of it but that's the risk we all take with the British weather! Two points worthy of note .. as a disabled visitor reliant on wheels to get me about, I wasn't even able to see the sea let alone get onto the beach due to the raised shingle banks. Nice to be able to hear it close by though. Also, I've never stayed in a rental before with a coin metre and we were a little taken aback with just how much we had to put in. Everything runs on electric so unless you feed the metre there's no lighting, heat, cooking or TV. Might not have been of such importance on a week with less dramatic weather!

Riverside Bungalow

We enjoyed a great family break in this perfectly situated, large, comfortable, very well equipped property. The good sized, enclosed decking area with a table & seating, was ideal for us & our dog. 5 minute walk to a large safe beach was a definite bonus. We would be sure to recommend Riverside Bungalow & wouldn't hesitate to go again. Thank you to Olwen.

Beautiful location

Set a beautiful private location with access to beach (pebbles at high tide, but sand at low tide). Superb food from on site pub restaurant. Bungalow was big, lots of space and everything you need for your stay, owner communication was great.Will definatly be back.

Spacious well equipped bungalow

very happy with everything well equipped especially good for the two children we had with us the keyboard was a real hit WiFi was good no connection problems Provision of towels and bedding would have made life easier but totally understand why we had to bring our own. The park was nice and quiet the play area was good and access to the beach fine if you want to go in the sea check the tides as its better when the tide is out on the whole very happy and would defineately come again.

One word amazing

We stayed 3 nights and we did not want to leave, bungalow was perfect for us and our big dog, area is just stunning and people are friendly, enjoyed are Morning walks on the beach and then a absolutely breathtaking sunset on the beach of an evening. Communication with owner has been fantastic and we could not have asked for more. We Will be booking again 100%. Thank you

A pleasant few days

This is a lovely large property, ideal for a family. It is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. However some of the furniture is quite shabby .Overall we had a very pleasant few days here.

enjoyable

good value for money, nice pebbles beach close to the site. If you want sand beaches you have to drive a few miles to reach Wittering West Beaches (very nice). We (2 adults / 3 Kids) had a good time
