You'e going to love it here, this a happy place to stay. Our condo, Vistas on the Gulf 301 is the unit with the American flag flying on the balcony in our opening picture. No fooling around here, it's a TRUE GULF FRONT CONDO (not a side unit) with many recent upgrades and is the nicest unit in the building. Vistas on the Gulf is a 38 unit condo on St. Pete Beach. If you've never been here, the beach is a great place for families and couples quiet and relaxing. We are the original owners of unit 301 and spend as much time as possible there, it has become our oasis! The gulf front view is just incredible, not only during the day, but look at our pictures to see some of the spectacular sunsets and rainbows we've seen!

The unique thing about our unit is that we have two balconies--a large balcony directly facing west to the beach and Gulf of Mexico. Another balcony is off the second bedroom and faces south. This view gives you a great pool view and a beautiful gulf view. One of the nice features of our condo, is that you can walk right out to the beach and can enjoy several beach restaurants/bars and never even have to put on your shoes!

Each unit is individually owned and we have added many personal touches. Master bedroom has a queen bed with a new firm premium mattress purchased May 2017 and other bedroom has a bunk bed with stairs, twin mattress top / full size firm mattress bottom purchased May 2017. The living room also has a new queen sized sofa-sleeper Jan 2017 . As nice as the unit is, you'll most likely be enjoying the beautiful beach and weather outside! New power leather recliner, new carpets purchased Nov 2017. Air conditioning system recently installed. Everything in our unit operates as it should.

We clean, upgrade and replace items regularly during each of our 9-10 weeks we visit each year. We take great pride in our condo and believe in putting money back into it to keep it fresh, updated and desirable. Just like you, we like staying in a clean updated well maintained condo when we vacation. We re invest in our condo continuously hoping that our guests have a wonderful experience. We love repeat guests.

About The Owner

My wife and I have owned our beach condo since construction was completed and take great pride in our unit. We visit often from Chicago and are on top of any little repairs or missing household items. It's more than an investment property and your enjoyment during your vacation is important to us! We 're always cleaning, replacing or upgrading something during our 9-10 weeks we visit each year. We believe in putting money back into our condo to keep it clean, fresh and desirable. Why The Owner chose Belle Vista

We love St. Pete Beach! My wife's grandparents and parents have been visiting since the 40's. SPB is totally laid back.

Tee shirts, shorts and flip flops is the dress code there. I always say SPB is more like Key West then Palm Beach. Relax and leave your formal wear at home. Our kids are always safe. We never have an issue with them walking on the beach day or night. Not to worry Mom and Dad, no college parties or wet tee shirt contests going on here. This is a great family place, very peaceful and quiet for you snow birds escaping from the harsh northern winters.

What makes this condo unique

St Pete Beach has beautiful white sand beaches. It has a relaxing laid back feeling to it.

Enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach or pick up the pace and run while enjoying the surf, sun and relaxing atmosphere.

Don't forget to smile and say hello to the other walkers and runners as they greet you.

Enjoy the many beach side and casual restaurants near my condo. Publix Super Market is 1/4 mile north of us on Gulf Blvd, easy to walk to. There is a trolley (bus) stop in front of our building for easy traveling up and down Gulf Blvd all the way to Clearwater.

You'll love our unit as everyone does as you'll see in the guest comment book we keep in our living room.

Our 22 yr old 6'3 son sleeps there comfortbly when we visit. Rest assured there's no 'bar in your back' like some sofa sleepers., Bunk Beds (2) We purchased a full size lower/twin size upper bunk bed with traditional firm mattresses May 2016 . Two people could sleep in lower full size bed and one person in upper twin size bunk. Stair access to upper bunk (no ladder). Our two girls both 5'10 sleep here. They tell us it's a huge improvement over the trundle beds we had and other units still use.

What can I say -- we thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Vistas on the Gulf in unit 301. Everything was perfect - the condo, the location, the view, the building & grounds, and the staff. It was so fun to stay here. We loved being on the beach. Just a few steps from the building and you are there. We were so happy to find that beach chairs were provided in this unit. We also found that you can get beach towels from the office to use during your stay. Great perk for those that fly. There are restrooms outside by the pool - very convenient. Unit 301 is very lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need. Jim, the owner was very nice and easy to talk to and work with. He provided all the information we needed to have a great vacation! The location is great, close to restaurants, grocery & gas. Be sure to check out SandBar Bill's on the beach just north of the condo. It is a great place to walk to and have a meal or drink!! Thank you Jim and Sherry for letting us stay in your home. We hope to return next year.

What a view!

Even though there was construction going on next door, we still totally enjoyed our stay in the condo. The view is spectacular. We

found great restaurants close by. The property is well-maintained and so is the condo. The owner called to make sure everything was ok. I am sure the construction has been completed next door. So, if you get the chance stay in this wonderful, relaxing Gulf front unit.

Another wonderful stay, no surprises or problems. We love staying in Vistas 301

We arrived 12 days after Hurricane Irma passed through. The owner emailed and called us regularly after Irma passed to update us on the condition of his condo, building and St Pete Beach. Jim was honest, straight forward providing us with accurate up dates. Happily St Pete Beach, the condo and building survived the storm with minor wind issues (blown down fence around the hot tub, a couple missing roof tiles). By the time we arrived everything had been cleaned up and repaired. There wasn't any flooding or beach erosion from the storm and they never lost power. The beach was just as we remembered, the condo was perfect with new furnishings since our last stay. This is our fourth stay at Vistas #301, we've never had any issues. The condo is always very clean, bright, airy with everything working properly. Each visit there's always something new or some thing has been replaced. Beds are very comfortable and it's nice having a traditional full size mattress in the lower bunk in the second bedroom, we slept soundly. Wifi, cable TV and HBO included. The owners do a good job of keeping the condo fresh and updated. There were beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet for us to use. The nice thing about this gulf front condo is being on the third floor you have the option of using the elevator or taking a short walk up or down the stairs out side their door, we easily use the stairs. We love our mornings and sunsets on the front main balcony (southwest corner of the building) but also enjoy the side balcony (off the second bedroom facing south) over the pool watching the kids playing in the pool. The covered parking is nice if it rains and keeping your car cool out of the sun. The girls in the office were friendly and helpful as always. The owner (Jim) is very easy to work with. We had another enjoyable week in this lovely gulf front condo. This is our happy place and it's a sad day when we have to check out. We highly recommend staying here.

Best Location ever

The location of this unit within the facility, on the beach, and in St Pete can not be beat. This was by far the softest sand (some areas on the beach can be shelly), and the least crowded. The closet full of toys for the kids, coolers, beach umbrellas and chairs was a great added bonus. Traveling across country, having the ability to leave a deposit for very large beach towels from the office was a huge benefit, and I would recommend it. The constant communication and attention to detail from the owners was second to none, including as soon as we got to St Pete with direction as well as recommendations for food (trust me, listen to the recommendations!). To give you an idea of the caliber of location, there is a unit for sale next door at 2.6 million. I can hardly wait to go back and this rates as my children's favorite place to go, and they have been to Mexico and Hawaii.

Wow! What a find! Our best vacation ever . . .

My first time in St Pete's Beach and I picked a real winner! Before we even got there, the owner was such a pleasure to deal with. We had lots of questions and concerns as we had never booked through VRBO before, but he made it so easy! We just showed up with our swimsuits and everything else we could possible have needed was there waiting for us. Including beach umbrellas, chairs, coolers and toys.

The view from the front balcony is just gorgeous and perfect for sunsets and relaxing breakfasts on the dining table outside. But there isn't just the front balcony, there is a side balcony as well that faces the pool. Our kids are just now at the age where they can probably be left at the pool on their own, but it was great for my husband and I to enjoy a drink on the side balcony and watch them the enjoy the pool. It was nice that it was on the third floor as well so we had a great view and yet could easily go up and down the stairs without using the elevator.

The cleanliness of the unit was great, sometimes I feel kind of funny about using other people's things, but everything looked very clean, fresh and new. All the furniture looks like new and the decoration is very pleasing. The kids loved the bunk beds in the second bedroom and our bed in the Master was very comfortable. Everything in the unit--TV's, DVD's, light fixtures, A/C all were working. Not to mention the washer and dryer, which we had going all the time!

We cooked in quite a bit to save a little money and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (even muffin tins!). We enjoyed the grills by the pool too. The kids didn't mind not going out to eat--they had more time at the pool and beach!

The pool area and grounds are kept in top notch condition. I was always so amazed when I got up in the morning and the pool area was all straightened up and so inviting.

All in all one of our best vacations of all times--we hope to be back again soon!
