Waikiki Park Heights is Located in the heart of Waikiki, walking distance to Waikiki Beach, Shopping, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium and fine dining restaurants. (World famous Hy's Steak house is located in the lobby) The unit features 3 bedrooms. Large Bedroom includes a Cal King bed, one bedroom a Queen bed and the other has two twin beds. There also is a sofa that converts into another bed in the living area. The Condo is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything you will need for your family vacation, gathering or business trip starting with a Full kitchen with all kitchen ware and the bathroom with all linens, unit even has a full size washer dryer and central A/C Two lanais are designed to capture the terrific ocean views and cool Hawaiian trade wind breezes.

Good value

Overall we were really pleased with the property. The location was super. We were able to walk to dining/beach etc. The complex is a little older, but that wasn't problematic for us. We did notice many bug traps all over the apartment (again not an issue for us, but something to note. And we did see a few bugs/cockroaches.) Initially getting into the parking garage may have been challenging - but thankfully someone else buzzed us in. When we communicated with the owner, he was very nice and followed up to make sure everything was fine. The rental worked perfectly for our family of four! They had beach chairs etc for us to use. The boogie boards were not in useable condition however. If you are a light sleeper, the louver windows didn't provide much sound proofing - thankfully that didn't really bother us most of the time. Overall, I would stay here again!

Amazing location

Location of this property was amazing. Right in the heart of Waikiki and walking distance to everything. Unit was well equipped and comfortable. The hosts had it very clean and we had no issues with any amenities. There is a roach problem in the unit which looks like the owners are trying to manage. I’m not a bug person at all and it was a bit annoying but I appreciate the effort put forth on the control. View was great from every room and water pressure was great. I would recommend this unit, you can tell the owners take pride in the cleanliness of the place.

Lovely condo but overrun by roaches

The condo is lovely and just what we needed. Perfect location. However, roaches were EVERYWHERE! They came from under the flooring, down from the ceiling, in every room, behind every appliance and in every cabinet. We sprayed, bought traps and electronic devices, nothing helped. We couldn't eat in the condo without being grossed out. Thank God for the rooftop bbq- we ate up there ONLY. The management company says the owners can have it sprayed for a reasonable fee weekly, but evidently this property is not taking advantage of it. Unless you are very comfortable with bugs, I would not recommend staying here. The building is older, elevators wouldn't open at times, it could use a thorough cleaning in hallways. On a positive note (and why I rated them 3 stars) the owners are very responsive. The internet was down when we arrived. It was late, but they responded even at the late hour and had it up and running the next day. With a little effort to eradicate the roaches, besides bug spray in the cabinets, this would have been a much higher rating from us.

Great location

The property was clean - although there were bugs and small roaches in the kitchen/bath. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and beach towels! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots/pans. The rooms were good sized. We loved the location because it's a block from shopping and 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach! The host, Rich, was responsive and provided a pack n play AND high chair for our little guy - which was a HUGE bonus. There is traffic noise since it's a corner unit on Ala Wai so be prepared. We brought a noise machine so we were just fine. The parking was such an awesome addition, as was the laundry in unit. Would definitely stay again!

Great locations with good amenities

Stay was worth it, close to Waikiki and had amenities for a family with kids. suggestions for improvement is to get rid of tiny roaches, and fix the leaky fridge.

Close to the beach

Everything about our stay was great! The best part was having two separate rooms, a kitchen, and an easy walk to the beach and all the shops!

Hawaiian 70th birthday extravaganza

Location was great….easy walk to Waikiki beach, International Marketplace and a great view of the mountains. Washer and dryer was such a bonus! Plenty of room for 4 adults

Great location clean condo

Everything was perfect. Enjoyed the outside space a lot. Close to everything downtown Parkiing space was also great if you have a car to see sights outside of city.

Stay in Waikiki

Property is at great location. Air conditioning, 29th floor pool and barbeques. Perfect for 4, sofa bed needs new mattress. Very uncomfortable. Cleaning crew needs to make sure property available at 4. Parking is tight but did okay with mini van. Would stay again. Enjoyed the balcony inthe evening. Very walkable.

In the heart of the hustle and bustle

The good: -The apartment itself was clean and in good condition -You are located 1 block from the shopping heart of Waikiki so there are good stores and restaurants -There is a nice view (not of the ocean) from the apartment -You don't really notice the surrounding apartments (no noise) The bad: -The place was noisy due to the car traffic, sirens and yelling on street. We covered that up with the noise of the a/c units -The building was under construction so there was some noise/debris from that. The elevators were not clean (but who really cares) -The king bed in the master bedroom leaves little room to walk on one side of the bed. Made it awkward to get up and down -Masking tape was used to hold the back sliding glass door closed. Wouldn't stay closed the rest of the stay so we had to block it with an outside chair -Pool on roof was clean but tile was being laid so didn't feel like we could relax up there Overall: I wouldn't stay there again. It was a bad location choice for us because we were looking for a relaxing Hawaii vacation. Downtown Honolulu/Waikiki in general is not that place. Still, we couldn't leave our windows open for the nice breeze due to the noise. I would have given them an additional start but the construction, tape on the back door and small space beside the bed was too much to overcome. They get the 1 star for a nice looking place and cleanliness.

Still has bug problem but otherwise great

Everything as advertised and worked out great for us. Really enjoyed having the included covered parking space. Unit is corner and you get a nice breeze in the unit. Primary reason for low stars is the bug issue persists. Building and or host need to hire pro to resolve. Also the AC units are loud so bring ear plugs if you are used to quiet bedroom. A drying rack would of been nice for drying swimsuits and towels. Washer and dryer was nice to have. Bring your own bath soap.

Perfect location

Great place to stay! It was in the perfect location to explore Waikiki Beach’s shops/restaurants and close walk to the beach. The parking spot was awesome saves from having to pay daily parking fee that a hotel would charge. Plenty of beach towels and the two beach chairs came in handy. Had a great time.

It has amazing view to the mountains.

Had lots noise from the main street Ala Wai at night by the design of the windows in the first a couple of nights but got used to it later on.

Beautiful View, Fantastic Location

Loved our time in Maui. Property was so clean, a super quick walk to the International Market and the beaches, and had awesome parking. Was a bit loud as it is on a busy street, but the view more than makes up for it. They also had boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, a FULLY stocked, newly remodeled kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, tons of bath towels, etc. We had a bit of difficulty getting a reply from the owner, but he seems super nice and wants your stay to be a good one. I would recommend bringing your own bath soap and laundry detergent as we never did find any in the unit. Would definitely recommend and would come again.

Waikiki 2022

Great location! Fantastic views of golf course, canal and Diamond Head. Watch the sunrise everyday. Condo has everything you need including 2 lawn chairs, beach towels, buggie boards etc. The building is undergoing some renovations. There were cockroaches only in the kitchen. Richard and Monica are great hosts and very responsive to our communication. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again as we are confident that the bug issue will be resolved.

Overall good; issues with bugs

We were a group of 6 and fit in the apartment great. The location was also pretty good ,very close to downtown and the apartment was overall clean. The apartment had everything we needed for our trip. We had a major issues with bugs. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, living and bathroom. When you turn on the lights they would scatter underneath the floorboard and in the walls. We found them in all the cabinets in the kitchen crawling in the plates and cutlery. We found one crawling on the group sleeping in the living room at night and we we had to message Richard and he came by and gave us some bugs spray. The bugs spray didn’t help at all. I think it might be a building infestation and not just the unit. Overall, we would stay again only if the bug issue is dealt with otherwise we will look elsewhere next time.
