Beautiful home in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland.
Enjoy together with family and / or friends in this house in Scharsterbrug, 2 km from Joure. Located directly on open water between the Tjeukemeer and Langweerderwielen. A lot is possible in the surroundings of Scharsterbrug, such as an 18-hole golf course in Legemeer, hiking in the Vegelin forests, subtropical swimming pool Swimfun Joure. Cycling past authentic villages such as Joure, Langweer, Balk & Terherne. Sloop / sailboat rental in Langweer.

The space
A very spacious home (900 cubic meters) for 4 to 10 people with 6 spacious bedrooms. The house stands on a spacious plot (1000 m2) with a covered lounge hut where you can enjoy the last sun in the afternoon and evening. The house and garden have sun all day long. There is also the possibility to swim. Fixed swimming ladder is present.
With bad weather, there are plenty of options to entertain you in the house, a wide selection of board games and a table tennis table/Table football in the garage.
There is an opportunity to moor your boat next to the house.
Cot and table chair available.
3 children's swimming jackets available.
All windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
Property is ideal for families and small business meetings.
Ground floor is completely ground floor, except the shower tray.

This is really a fantastic and absolutely lovely place to spend some relaxing days and we can only recommend it. And thanks to Suzan and Martin for the warm welcome with sweets, wine and even fresh flowers, which made it perfect from the start.

Lovely house on the water

The house and grounds are beautiful, and the hosts are kind. The neighborhood is quiet. It was a great base for driving off to view tulip fields.

A beautiful home in a great location. We last stayed here two years ago and the property was as good as we remembered and more. The steady stream of boats passing by insures an ever changing landscape. Ducks and birds looking for a tasty morsel were regular visitors to the front lawn. The nearby town of Joure has plenty of restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes. Further afield the fish and chips at Stavoren are not to be missed.

Loved this beautiful place!

I can’t say enough about how welcoming and kind Suzan and Martin were during the booking process and arrival! Martin guided us through everything we needed to know and went out of his way to help us!!! Would absolutely visit and stay here again! Thank you both so much!

Great stay!

This is a beautiful property!! Even the boats that went by on the canal commented on its beauty. The hosts were great and helpful. The beds were very comfortable in all the rooms. Very spacious. Awesome place to stay for a large group. And the little outdoor covered sitting area was an excellent surprise for us. Thanks Martin and Susan.

An absolute diamond

A large well furnished and beautiful house which is well situated for exploring Friesland. Well stocked with plenty of utensils, crockery and pans etc. Sitting right on the side of the canal the passing boats provide an ever changing view. Our only regret is that we only booked for 7 nights and not for 14.

Beautiful house, nice region

Very nice house, very well eqipped, with so much room for relaxing, enjoying the weather and every possible freetime activity. The owners provide so much equipment for indoor and outdoor games/activities. The communication with Suzan and Martin is exceptionel friendly. The Checkin and -out was very easy. I enjoyed the welcome received from Martin and the given tour through the house. If we decide to make another trip to this region, we will definetly book again. Thank you Suzan and Martin!

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in perfekter Lage – ruhig, aber dennoch gut angebunden. Der Vermieter ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön, geräumig und hervorragend ausgestattet.Ich habe schon viele Ferienhäuser gemietet, aber dieses war das beste.Absolute Empfehlung – ich komme gerne wieder!

Seht schönes Haus

Ein sehr schönes rruhig gelegenes Haus . Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht .... und noch viel mehr . Von der Tischtennisplatte über eiine riesen große Auswahl an Gesellschaftsspielen bis hin zu Kajaks... wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Haus am Wasser

Sehr schönes Haus mit viel Platz für unseren Faimilenurlaub. Tolle Lage direkt am Wasser. Die Tischtennisplatte und die Kanus wurden intensiv genutz.In der gut ausgestatteten Küche hatten wir alles, um uns selbst gut versorgen zu können. Schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe und nicht weit zum Iysselmeer.

Sehr schönes, sehr geräumiges Haus, gute Ausstattung mit Geschirr, Gartenmöbeln etc. Sehr gepflegter Garten, schöne Lage am Wasser. Kajak und Kanus vorhanden zur Nutzung. Leider kein Laden und keine Gastronomie im Ort, Nachbargemeinden jedoch schnell mit dem Rad zu erreichen.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Der Aufenthalt war super, die Vermieter sehr sehr nett. Alles war top, der Gasherd war genial! Es gibt allerdings bei der Übersetzung in der App ein kleines Manko: Fahrräder sind nicht in der Ausstattung des Hauses beinhaltet! Das muss man wissen. Wir hatten das Haus ausgesucht, weil laut App in der Ausstattung Fahrräder vorhanden sind. Das hat Fewo-Direkt aber leider in der App falsch übersetzt. Dies ist allerdings nicht die Schuld der Vermieter!

Schönes Haus, toll gelegen

Es hat an Nichts gefehlt. Mit 8 Freunden haben wir vier Tolle Tage verbracht. Direkt am Kanal, auf dem wir mit den hauseigenen Kanus gepaddelt sind. In nur 15-30 Minuten waren wir in den schönen Orten Sneek und Lemmer. In der großen, toll ausgestatteten Küche haben wir super kochen können und im Garten wurde gegrillt und gechillt.
