Great location, with lovely little balcony. The apartment had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The bottle of wine was appreciated, thankyou. 2 minute walk to restuarants, 5 mins to the beach.

Perfect sunset spot

Great place to watch the surf. Walk right out the door and onto the Fishermen’s Trail. Apartment is comfortable and well furnished. Thank you Isabel for the wine and for sharing your special place!

Modern apartment in a beautiful location

This is our second visit to Zambuzeira do mar, and definitely our favourite apartment. Everything was clean and modern, and the layout was fantastic for 2-4 adults. Waking up to this view was a breathtaking way to start each day. Highly recommended!

Stunning ocean view apartment

This was the most beautiful location and view yet. A beautiful apartment very well equipped over looking the ocean. Great sunset. Marina our contact was more than helpful getting us in and mKing some great restaurant recommendations. The only regret is not staying much longer.

It was difficult to obtain directions to the location because they were not sent until 2 days before our stay and we were already hiking down the coast at that point with limited cell reception. Getting directions and keys involved a frustrating call to Expedia. There was no exterior lighting to clearly identify the building and no lights in the hall to ensure we could safely reach the room, which is located at the back of the building and up some scary stairs. The house was really cold when we arrived and remained that way all night because the only heat came from two little radiant heaters. The towels were worn out and smelled old. The bed was missing a top sheet and when we tried to contact the host to obtain one, there was no response. There was one flat little pillow for me and one for my husband. Everything from kitchen utensils to hot pads to hairdryer looked old and grubby. It’s a shame, really. The location is good and he “bones” of the home are lovely. For the price we paid, I was really disappointed with the lack of comfortable little touches.

I do realize that part of our low rating is our fault. We arrived at dusk and had trouble finding the location (streets are not well marked). There was no key in the lockbox, fortunately a call to Marina meant that we were quickly saved! Lights in the common hallway leading to the stairs were out so it was a dark entry. Not an auspicious start. The apartment is a little dark in general and the lighting is not great. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated but the rest is a bit tired. The very small balcony has room for 2 chairs but it was all filthy so we didn't want to sit out there. The bedroom had a musty smell. There was no fan and there is no AC in this apartment. Some air circulation may have helped. The view from the windows is stunning though, it's a great location. We just felt like the place could use a little TLC. Totally personal preference, and you may feel very differently.

Great view !

The views from our front windows and balcony were spectacular! The location of the property was perfect. A quick walk to all the restaurant and shops. Easy access to the beach and all the walking paths along the top of the cliffs.

The pictures don't do this place justice - wonderful views and spacious apartment. Huge TV (not that there is much time to watch, with the beautiful beaches around). Lots of cooking equipment, good coffee machine and friendly check-in. Would highly recommend.
