Our story began 45 years ago in California- the next 45 will be in Hawaii!! We purchased a fixer upper home 5 years ago in North Kohala and are still working on the renovation-let's just say we have embraced the much slower pace of the Big Island! Maybe when we retire(again!) it will be in Hali'i Kai 15B-until then, make yourselves at home. We are on island, so please don't hesitate to let us know if we can be of any assistance.

We had taken many vacations to Hawaii and the dry side of the Big Island became the obvious choice for us. Sue has discovered the consistent warmth has reduced her arthritis pain -unlike the extreme temperature changes in California. Perhaps the amazing sunsets, stargazing and mai tais may have also influenced our decision!

Dear Jeff,



Pictures cannot prepare one for the reaction we got when we opened the

front door. Your place has got to be the nicest place on the whole island

-- just amazing! We already have memories of a lifetime just sitting on the

lanai staring at the ocean, spending time with each other and drinking

coffee (and beer). I meant to drop you a quick note earlier, but we've

been so busy having the time of our lives.



Having been to Kauai so many times, I wasn't sure what to make of all the

lava on the way up! But we went to Hapuna, visited Kailua Kona and Hilo,

and are really loving this island.



Whenever we come back "home" to 15B, it never fails to amaze me to walk

through those doors and see that view. My expectations were high to begin

with, but it's no exaggeration to say we're blown away. Mahalo, Mahalo!

Great unit in an amazing location!

We wouldn't even consider any other place to stay on this side of the Big Island! Oceanfront unit incredibly close to the awesome pool! The unit was incredibly clean and by far one of the most well-stocked units we've ever stayed in! (Includes beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers and more to take with you to the beach!) The owners were also great with communications and working with us to add an extra night on the front end of our stay when we needed to adjust our plans last minute!

Absolutely Lovely!

Kerry & Sue's condo was absolutely lovely. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, lovely view and just about everything you would need was provided. They were very responsive, often responding within 30 minutes and easy to work with (when requesting a little later check out time). The complex grounds are beautiful and very well kept, pool area is also very nice (although it would be nice to have a small area that would reach 5' deep, deepest area was 4', but really no big deal). We only ate at the restaurant on site once (the last night) and we were very impressed and disappointed that we didn't try it sooner as we would have eaten there more often. Sapphire the bartender was a lovely young women and friendly. Everyone we met there (some were owners and some were renters) were friendly and many renters were return guests. We were sad to leave after 8 nights and next time plan to stay at least 10-14. Waikoloa area is lovely, and much quieter and less crowded than Kailua. We did experience a few not so good days of VOG due to the volcano eruption but it wasn't near as bad in Waikoloa as it was farther south due to trade winds. Those days the air wasn't so good, my mother in law opted to stay in as the VOG really bothered her breathing so it was nice to have such a lovely place for her to relax in. Thank you Kerry & Sue for your hospitality (the chocolates were yummy!!). We sure hope to return in the near future.

All around fantastic home for our vacation!

Over the years I have had the opportunity to travel many different places and staying in Hali'i Kai 15B was one of the best experiences we've had. A large part of this was due to Kerry and Sue. They were very attentive to our needs and responsive to our questions. This carried through to the condo. Of course the location, being oceanfront, was amazing. We enjoyed watching the sunsets but also liked the easy access to the trail. But on top of the location, this condo was outfitted with absolutely everything one would need - snorkels, coolers, chairs, kitchen equipment (including a blender that really works - Yay margaritas!), etc. And the furnishings were great. We cannot recommend this highly enough. Hopefully its available should we visit the big island again. Thank you Kerry and Sue for making our vacation fantastic!!!

Beautiful Oceanfront Property

We loved this Condo for our first visit to the Big Island. This is in a gated community between the golf courses in Waikoloa and Mauna Lani. Top notch golf courses in this area and nice beaches in close vicinity.

This property is located in one of 3 "oceanfront" buildings (13/14/15) in Hali'i Kai which has fantastic views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets to watch from the lanai, as well as the wildlife. It has top quality appliances and fully stocked kitchen, full size washer/dryer and very comfortable bedrooms. Close proximity to the beautiful pool/bar/restaurant and workout area, which we LOVED!

Near the pool area, you can join the "lava trail" which will take you all the way from Mauna Lani Black Sand Beach through the Hilton property where you can watch the dolphins and then over to "A" Beach, spectacular ocean front vistas the whole way!

Great communication from the owners, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you again Kerry and Sue :)

PS: If you get a chance try the oceanfront dining at Kamuela Provision Company (KPC) on the Hilton property during sunset, it cannot be beat!
