The houses were lovely and accommodated all 14 of us and three dog comfortably. The main house had good access for our mobility impaired grandmother too.

40th Birthday Weekend

Fantastic property in a great location. Second time we have stayed here and would highly recommend. Very easy communications with both Alex who manages the property and Jane, who is on hand during your stay.

Amazing Holiday Venue

Don’t believe we could have found a better home to accommodate 16 guests for a week. Just perfect for our family reunion. Location in the centre of Sandwich 2 mins from the station and bus station was a bonus. Weather was great too!!

Fabulous

14 of us stayed across the lodge and cottage to celebrate 2 birthdays. It was a wonderful, large space and accommodated our dinner party and 70sdisco party. Very comfortable, gorgeous gardens, just a real pleasure to stay.

Just Wow , absolutely stunning property , would highly recommend for anyone wanting to celebrate in style . Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away . Sandwich is such a lovely place , lots of lovely pubs , walks and history . The host was brilliant with info about things to do and where to eat . A fabulous time had by all . Thank you .

Absolutely perfect

We were a group of 14 friends in our 30s (plus two babies!) on a weekend away from London and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more! It’s hard to believe but the property is even better than it looks in the photos - it’s gorgeous and has everything you need. The host’s comms were absolutely fantastic, answering all my many questions with ease and proving LOADS of local insight for things like a caterer for a dinner party (Stella Grove - outstanding!) and local walks. Nothing was too much trouble - thank you so much Alex. The area itself was also beautiful. The perfect weekend away. Thanks again, we’re so grateful.

60th Birthday

As a recent widow I wanted to celebrate a significant birthday with family and friends. Sandilodge and cottage gave me the space and location that covered every need. The lodge with it’s vast open plan kitchen and living room was plenty of room for our party. The quality of the decor was outstanding throughout the lodge . Bedrooms with comfy beds and a good bathrooms. The cottage gave a more intimate feeling a similar decor to the lodge. The location was perfect as you can walk to anything in Sandwich with its eclectic architecture and artisan shops and coffee cafes. I would highly recommend Sandilodge for anyone who has any size party who wants that traditional English small old town feeling but close to the coast and not too far from London.

Also wonderful for those 60+

Lovely open areas for socialising and a separate building if you need quiet time. Great rooms and facilities; small proviso is that the shower cubicles are quite slippery and it might be wise to bring bath mats. The biggest problem for us all were the locking handles for the outside glass doors (instructions please!). This beautiful town has the best public transport - buses and trains- within a very short walking distance of the property and so visiting other towns in the area meant the cars could stay in the driveway; great way to save fuel. Huge variety of restaurants and a beautiful house to come back to. Alex and Jane are great communicators if there are problems so, thank you, we would happily stay again. Jane P

30 wedding anniversary celebrations

SandiLodge and The Cottage where simply perfect for us and our family, 16 of us, all adults, we were also blessed with great sunny weather so was able to sit and enjoy the gorgeous walled garden. The location was ideal, once we had parked the cars, could walk 5 mins into Sandwich. Every picture is exactly what you find. The bed linen and pillows are perfect and the quality is top class. ( our only moan was the sofa bed in the cottage, was really not comfortable and the single bed/ pull out bed really not suitable for adults…. This is a shame as the en-suite walk in wet room was amazing!!! This room could accommodate twin beds.. in my opinion… ). Having said this, the 2 properties are beautiful, modern, bright and done to a really high spec….. absolutely no regrets hiring this unique property. We would definitely return..

A fabulous house in a great location. Everything was perfect. The owner was lovely and very helpful when we asked a few questions, she came back straight away and helped. Lovely comfy beds, marvellous kitchen , beautiful bathrooms with plenty of hot water. All in all a perfect stay.

Fabulous property & location

We needed a large house to accommodate a big group of friends for my daughters pre-wedding/belated 30th birthday. The house/cottage was perfect, lots of space for being all together but also comfortable luxurious smaller spaces too. Great location for walking into town too.

Fantastic Properties!

We had a wonderful weekend at Sandi Lodge and Cottage. Everything we needed for cooking was available in the properties. The BBQs worked well and the table tennis was a fun bonus! Communication with Alex before and after our stay was excellent. The call from Jane with tips was very welcome. Would recommend for a family get together.

Wow!!!

Superb accommodation and even better than the extensive listing and description. Stayed mainly at the lodge/cottage to have bbqs, play games with kids( especially the table tennis ) and let the dogs roam in the lovely gardens. Sandwich was a lovely location with historical buildings and a quant atmosphere. Would like to use the venue in the future and return for another wonderful experience. Thankyou very much.👌🙏

Fabulous weekend!

Perfect location for a mixed aged family event, only thing we could have asked for was longer mirrors in bedrooms and more toilet rolls and towels if we were to be picky! We had a brilliant stay, Alex and Jayne were very accommodating and helpful and the venue was fantastic :) Highly recommend!

Perfect family break

We stayed here for our dads 80th birthday celebration and had a lovely time. Beautiful area, and everything you need is close by. The house is well equipped and very modern. It worked perfectly for all our needs.
