Nuestra espaciosa casa de alquiler familiar se encuentra en Fitts Village, en la costa oeste 'Platinum' de Barbados, una casa adosada de 2 dormitorios, recientemente construida, en dos plantas, rodeada de jardines paisajísticos. Uno de los 7 pares de casas en este desarrollo ubicado en una calle sin salida con estacionamiento privado. Las playas de arena blanca y polvorienta y el acogedor Mar Caribe azul cálido se encuentran a solo 200 metros a pie en Fitts Village, donde también encontrarás un supermercado, un restaurante y un bar en la playa. Situado en la costa oeste, la propiedad está idealmente ubicada para permitir un fácil acceso a todas las atracciones de Barbados. Al final del camino hay paradas de autobús con autobuses regulares a todas las partes de la isla, aunque recomendamos alquilar un automóvil para que pueda explorar la isla de forma independiente. La capital, Bridgetown, con su puerto de cruceros y tiendas libres de impuestos, se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche y la vecina Holetown con bares, restaurantes y tiendas a solo 3. 5 km. Great place for a relaxing holiday

The villa is perfect for a really relaxing stay in Barbados; it has everything you could need and the gardens at ajoupa make it feel very tropical. The villa is ideally located for exploring the island, with easy access to the bus network, and very convenient for the nearby supermarket and local restaurants and bars. It is just a short walk for access to amazing beaches and snorkelling. I would really recommend staying here for a holiday!

We loved this place! Gill had provided the most wonderful welcome😊Absolutely everything you need from kitchenware to towels and beach chairs and even a grill! Our balcony view of the ocean and sunset was breathtaking. Located so close to the grocery store and bus stop making meals easy and day trips easier. We will definitely be back to stay here! Thank you so much Gill ❤️

Great holiday in Fitts Village

This townhouse in Fitts Village was great vacation spot. The beach, a 5 min walk, had soft fine sand and also rocks with good snorkeling. A large grocery store was also close. The townhouse had everything we needed. We liked that it was in a regular neighbourhood with not just tourists. There were chickens, roosters, and a cow. The townhouse complex itself was a very pleasant enclave with a nice pool and gardens. The kitchen was easy to cook in. This is great if you don't want to eat out all the time (we cooked most of our dinners).

Great house close to everything you will need!

We had a great stay at Gill's house. It is very well equipped with everything you would need (kitchen + picnic stuff, sun loungers, snorkels, towels etc) and has excellent air conditioning. The house is a 5 min walk to the beach, a restaurant and the local supermarket and just a few minutes from the bus stop so a very convenient location. The swimming pool at the complex is not huge but we barely used it as the beaches were so close. All the neighbours were really friendly and provided great recommendations for places to eat, swim or visit. Overall, it made a great base for us as we explored all of the West Coast.

Ajoupa 12

Stayed at Ajoupa 12 for 11 nights. We had an amazing time thanks to Gill and her family for sharing their little bit of heaven. Gill was a fantastic host, communication was excellent and check in to the property was great, the villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday including beach towels, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. Great recommendations are in the villa for activities, restaurants etc. The neighbourhood is wonderful and the people are so welcoming. We tended to eat and drink amongst the locals and Wendy's became our personal favourite as well as lemon Rock who do the best homemade chips! Thunder bay beach is amazing (a short ride on the bus) - do try Simone's food. Also enjoyed the local beaches, prospect bay and paradise beach. I would 100% recommend this villa to anyone wanting a home from home stay in barbados 🇧🇧 Thanks again Gill for sharing your piece of heaven with us, we will be returning 😊

Ajoupa 12 in Fitts Village is a lovely place

My husband and I spend a month at the property; the unit is one of only 14 in the complex so you quickly get to know the other tenants and there is no through traffic (other than the roosters and chickens!). The development is also at the dead-end of the road so no vehicular traffic either. The photos are very accurate - the unit is clean and comfortable, well maintained, and well equipped with good selection of linens and towels, kitchen dishes and cooking equipment, and outdoor equipment (beach chairs, snorkels, etc.). The full size washer/dryer combo are a bonus. We had rented a car which makes it much easier to get around, although there are loads of buses and taxis available, which are inexpensive, safe and easy to use. There is a small grocery store a few blocks away (much bigger ones a car ride or bus ride away) and a few restaurants within walking distance but having a car definitely makes it easier. The beach that is closest to the unit is nice for walking but not very good for swimming (rocky); however there are several lovely beaches a short ride away. The pool in the complex is very nice. The unit owners are very responsive and communication was easy. While the neighbourhood is quiet, the roosters do start crowing around 2:00 in the morning and can be quite annoying if one is a light sleeper (audible even if doors and windows are all closed and a/c is on). Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Ajoupa 12.

Ajoupa 12 " Home " away from home

We stayed at Ajoupa 12 from January 5 -March 31 2022. We quickly became very comfortable in the villa. From beginning to end our stay was amazing. Our communication with Gill was fantastic, she was very helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. The villa is exactly as described, it is clean, comfortable and located in a wonderful small village. The locals are very friendly and very helpful. There is wildlife around the villa, chickens, monkeys, horses, cows, goats, sheep etc. We walked everywhere, to Bridgetown and Holetown etc. We rented a car for 2 weekends out of the 3 months. The local buses are cheap, go up and down the coast and we enjoyed taking them. The beds are comfortable with quality linens. There are lots of towels in good condition and in lovely tropical colours. The kitchen linens are sufficient but could be updated. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. You can drink the tap water which is wonderful. The villa has a variety of chairs to take to the pool or the beach. We have a couple of ideas that may improve a stay at Ajoupa 12. First, we would have liked a barbeque, a charcoal one would have been great. Second, a curtain or blind on the side of the balcony upstairs would be nice in order to provide some privacy while having morning coffee or enjoying the beautiful sunsets on the ocean. Third, in the bathroom upstairs the toilet could use a proper fitting toilet seat. Fourth, It would be helpful if all renters were asked not to feed the chickens. Many renters fed the chickens and thus they were always around looking for food. The suggestions for improvement are small things. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Ajoupa 12 to anyone looking for a villa to rent in Barbados. Thank you Gill & Steve! Heather & Don

Very pleasant stay

Nice and spacious. Close to supermarket and beach (slight incline walking back up, but fine). Great sports bar ten-minute walk away and regular buses to all over west and south of the island. Didn't need a car this time. Liked Fitts Village as very non-touristy, just locals living there pretty much. No need to dress up! Lived in shorts and flip flops of the week! Beach very small, which we liked. Can rent sunbeds and umbrella from local lady called Shiny!

Great location and facilities, easy booking and excellent service from management!

The property was clean, well equipped and quiet, with lush vegetation and a great pool. Information provided by management prior to the stay was super helpful and additional details /references were available in the condo. Restaurants, public transportation and the beach were all in very close proximity. The welcoming team was very hospitable and accommodating. It was an excellent stay at Ajoupa 12 - would recommend to all!
